I actually think the problem is that they are run flats, as they get a bit of a bad press. The sidewalls are really stiff and corrupt the ride quality. There's a reason why M-Division BMWs don't have them but the rest of the range do. However, having had a front puncture in my Mini Cooper S at 85 (on a private road) I was delighted to be running on run flats. There was no drama at all and I just carried on my journey at reduced speed. A blow out could have been rather more exciting.....

Compared to what? The MY06 Zed is over 1600 kg, which is crazy for a 2 seater, that's 2 Elise's..... Thats like comparing iron to lead. The only thing that makes a Zed look light is a 4x4!

yeah fully fabric folding roof rwd as well and engine at the back ! wonder if they will keep that layout or not in the new one (prob not i guess) still 200hp on such a small car will be fun Nah, its a widened Panda chassis underneath. Still, given the good reviews the warm Panda has had from EVO et al its not a bad starting point.

+1 i always said my kakimoto made some performance difference. Like you, ive had exhaust's added to some of my previous cars and they never made a difference, yet i felt on the 350z it did. My other cars were probably louder than the Zed too Chav!
