  1. so what colour are you now? You'll be black and blue when I call you out for a suprise cage fight at Wembley on the 14th Or maybe not Its gonna be such a laugh dude, on one of the fights I got to present a sword to one of the winning fighters, but if you want you can do it and get your mug seen on sky sports (since you like to be seen) Er nah your alright. I don't wanna show up the fighters physiques Do it you big girl and get your face on the box!
  2. Welcome aboard, Suhail! The Zed's looking good already mate. Your new Volks are sweet but what was wrong with the old ones!
  3. Just kidding, heard 'em all before, Woollyback!
  4. As problems go its not a bad one to have. I think we've all been there!
  5. Is that the one with the body kit that was a slightly different shade of red... think it was spotted in Aberdeen Thats the one. Find it for me and Digsy, Ross? We can't be arsed..........
  6. But selling more cars than Nissan and making a profit.... Frankly that's because so many people are prepared to buy any old tat as long as it has a prestige badge. In the last 2 weeks Autocar have put a new Mondeo and a Nissan Skyline G35 up against the 3 series and both times the non-prestige competitor was as good if not better than the Bee Emm. Will 3 series drivers buy them or even consider them - not likely! Prestige badges are like the emperors new clothes, particularly in their entry level ranges. I don't think my car is old tat. I've driven many £60k+ cars and mine feels, drives and is built as good as any of them. I think you lot have some kind of BMW complex.... I never suggested all BMW's were tat but that they can sell unmpressive cars at high prices on the badge alone - I'm thinking X3 and 1-series. Remember, I'm the one who has the Z4 Coupe fetish. I'm no Bee Emm hater, just a realist.
  7. Nightmare, mate. Glad I've been too lazy to do mine.
  8. Maybe good for me. Will have to confirm nearer the time. I take it Digsy from reading some of your replies in other posts you are a defo for this meeting? Go on then, put me down as a deffo!
  9. I'm thinking of podercoating my Enkei's an anthracite colour. What do folk think? Anyone recommend someone in the NW?
  10. Fifth Gear is just bilge! I actually missed the Zed bit but caught the rest of the show and there really wasn't anything of interest there. Mrs Digsy will happily watch Top Gear with me but just looked bemused throughout, trying to work out who might find it interesting. Sh1te!
  11. Bring the bill for the whole deal to a nice round £1000 [These take about 3-4 hours to fit] Doubt you would see any performance benefit whatsoever either - stock headers are pretty good (based on gains or lack of that people in the US have seen when going non-OEM headers) Cheers, mate. That's another £1000 saved.
  12. Post up the link, I can't be arsed searching.
  13. What exactly would these do for me then?

  15. Why. You get a well balanced rear drive car with a decent build quality. Most of the alternatives are FWD. As most of you have experienced RWD I think you wil agree it makes for a more drivers car. RWD is pretty much its only selling point other than the badge. Its ugly, rides badly and appallingly packaged.
  16. What an ugly little runt of a car!
  17. Rich, I'd say that the difference is that when people say they are coming from a long way away, then they typically are. It also takes more planning for them and they have normally taken than into account as well. The fact that its a big meet, (rather than a once a month one that is easy for local people not to turn up to) means that I bet you will have a good turn out....... AND most of the people on the list are people that have always delivered on their promises in past meets. Don't let the local one dishearten you too much...... I'm sure you'll have a good turn out of this one. You will always have the odd one or two that have an issue or pull out at last min, but the majority will be there I'm sure.....! Just needs people to let you know if they can't make it for any reason, rather than just pulling out mate Keep the faith Rich! Couldn't agree more. A one off drive out is always going to attract more than a monthly meet. Especially if you get Mark to have a word with the big guy and book some sun! Organise it and they will come.........
  18. As if by magic, a shopkeeper appeared! Bling! (thats Mr Benn for any of you young whippersnappers who don't know what the hell I'm talking about, or in fact you Adam as you won't have seen it..... I think ) Now you're showing your age! Top show, though.
