  1. Ah, saw this elsewhere and didn't realise it was yours Martin. Looks like another great job from Steve.
  2. Looking very tidy, mate. What are the rims?
  3. Welcome! Pop over the Pennines next Saturday and come and meet us.
  4. Dan, make sure you will be happy to keep 1 car for 3 years. Whenever I've had a car on finance I'm always itching to get rid long before the deal is up. I suspect you may be the same.
  5. The fact that it severed completely in half makes me wonder if it was a cut'n'shut.....
  6. Z is 1.25 thread. Thanks Phil.
  7. Bump. Anyone ready to promote themselves from MAYBE to DEFFO????
  8. Off to Demon Tweeks today to get some Mintex Extreme brake pads fitted and thought I'd take the opportunity to have my new spigot rings put on and change to the black Gorilla spline drive lug nuts that Adam's supplied from the States. Pads went on fine but neither lugs nor spigot rings were the correct size! This is the third time Envy have sent me spigot rings which don't fit(including the set which came with my rims) and I'm at a loss as to what they find so hard in supplying rings that fit both car and wheel. They are supposed to be the experts when it comes to these things!!! I'll give Z1 some leeway as this is their first **** up but I have waited weeks and they also hold themselves out to be Zed experts. Felt a complete tw@t as every time I'm at DT something doesn't fit that they haven't supplied. On the bright side pads are much better than OEM giving more bite and excellent stopping power.
  9. and thats the important thing. Not what they cost If money's no object to you, otherwise Falkens. Of course mate, just pointing out that the MPS will actually be the better tyre if cost is taken out of the equation. Bring it back in, then yes the Falken package will be an excellent proposition to a lot of owners, but like most things there are too many variables to give a definitive answer I'd be interested to hear Adam's input on this sort of question. Unlike most of us he's driven on lots of different combinations. I know that plenty of us have gone from completely shot 'Stones to whatever brand we then went for and, guess what, we thought they were @*!# hot!

  18. Those wheels were worth the effort. Similar colour to the one I want to do my rims. So long custard Zed, see you soon!
  19. +1 The mileage issue carries it for me, remembering that it will be hard to shift a high mileage Lambo.
