The consensus from the motoring press is not that its been "made worse". Well from V10 to V8, 520 bhp to 414 bhp, 0-60 4.3 to 3.8, lower torque of 376 down to 276 lb-ft, top speed down from 198 to 181 mph, weight up from 1430 to 1560 kg. All suggest to me that they've taken a great car and made it worse, but still a great car in its own right i'm sure. Again, just like the Cayman when Porsche took out the LSD to keep cost/ performance down I know its not mean't to be a direct competitor and that its supposed to be cheaper but a client of mine has just bought one for over £90k which is Gallardo money. Performance stats don't tell the whole story, of course. The fact that it is being touted as better than the 911 suggests to me that they've taken a great car and made another great car in a different class. There's still £40k plus between them on list price (for a base Gallardo not the SE) and I'm sure that there are plenty of ways to add to Gallardo's price with extras.

Yes I changed mine. IMO the 18's are swallowed by the arches once the nismo kit is added. Some nice 19's with an aggressive offset will bring the wheels out of the arches. If you look at one of your pics, the rear wheels are inside the arches. Mine looked like this: All IMO of course You must have got some expert advice on those offsets, mate. Perfecto!

I love that Z.... Not keen on the new wheels though. neither am I his old ones looked much better imo +1 Aren't the new ones the same as the ones on Envy's azure zed? Except they are silver/black on Envy's as opposed to silver/blue. There's a guy with silver/red and that's just wrong.

Now if the exchange rate has suddenly jumped up from Sunday, I don't know. Kev's words were "PE are very keen on pushing this kit in the UK, hence the low price". Maybe it was a special price for me only? Or maybe he's had a rethink considering I told him it was really cheap vs an APS TT kit? you decide either way, as someone on here once said, something is worth only as much as people are prepared to pay for it. I wouldn't be prepared to pay any amount starting with a 6 for this kit PS how's the Z Dorian, got one yet? if you read my post above, the installed price £5800 That's not how I read Gaz's post here.....

But whilst it works out of the box with the stock JDM ECU we still don't know if that's the case for the UK ECU's. Kevin/Gaz?
