Hi, mate! The offsets dictate how far inside the wheelarch the wheel sits. High offset and the wheel is tucked in looking like a canoe on wheels (or an old E-type if you're being kind), low offset and the wheel and tyre could be sticking out of the arch, chav-Corsa style. Its also dependent on width but perceived wisdom is that something in the region of a +18 to +25 offset will give you a nice aggressive look on the Zed without sticking out of the arches. Your high offsets will not only look naff aesthetically but I suspect they will put the wheel too close to the brakes and may not fit. Whilst we all want to be different (apart from the NISMO wheel boys ) sometimes its best to select a wheel that has been fitted to a Zed before so someone else can make the mistakes for you. You could try one of our own Y pipes normally £130 could let you have one that has only been on a car for 100miles for £100. The flexi joints sit higher than the Nismo so give an extra 20mm of clearance. Thx Phil.. its a good offer.. i think il take u up on it. ..Why was it taken off the car after only 100miles? Customer changed his mind and went for a different setup within a couple of days. On a sort of related point Phil, does your new exhaust sit lower than say a NISMO for clearance purposes?

Yep, mine does it and I've heard of others too. It only revs that high for say 10 secs before falling back though - not a minute.

PMSL You forgot:- 1 to argue that forged light bulbs are better than cast light bulbs and that all cheap light bulbs are sh1t.

I don't want this to turn into another OC bashing thread - its been done to death. Suffice to say, there was only one UK forum from 2003 through to the end of 2005. Late 2005 the members were presented with a fait accompli that the site was to be replaced by the OC with a 2-tier system of users and paying members. Those that felt strongly about how that site was going to be run set up this place as a completely free alternative. The old members were then able to see which site they preferred and their post counts reflect this. Rest assured, this site is a dedicated Zed site, whether 350 or 370, and we have no plans to expand it to other cars. Maybe relations will improve as the two sites move further apart in their target audiences.

No, amazingly Sarnie doesn't pre-date this place. I meant Prescience and Rish. Incorrect I joined the ''old'' forum in Sept 05 when looking for a zed. I joined right in the middle of all the in-fighting and didn't really know what was going on. I never knew that the site was splitting I just remember the site changing but had no knowledge of this place at all! The OC's blanket ban of any talk of this site shielded me from finding this place. They even have software that prevents any links being posted on the OC to this site I can't really remember quite how I found this place but it took me till April after the split to arrive here. Then i got banned from the OC And almost 13,000 posts later I'm still here, aren't you all glad I found this place I stand corrected. (Apart from the fact that I don't remember any in-fighting going on until at least December time.)

06 plate uk spec, mate. tbh, im not really into the sound of the car, mostly into performance & power increase. But after rethinking what ive learnt so far, popcharger is my best option. On the basis of your comments I'd save your money for something which will give you a more worthwhile gain.
