Just a quickie to "old fuddy duddy" - please don't be put off, you will not be alone in not wanting to race or put your other half at any risk. I too will have my "speed limiter" in the passenger seat. Those who don't want to "make progress" can take up the rear places so that no-one feels under pressure. It's all good!

I always found it interesting that the Merc SLR's wheels were designed to channel air into the brakes like propeller blades. Never seen anyone else do this and it appears from those pics that Nissan have chosen to increase the size of the gap between the spokes instead. IIRC correctly the later, more-focussed version dropped these for some very standard looking items. Perhaps they weren't that good after all.

I think its probably just the difference between turbo and NA power delivery. There's no lag with a Zed.
