I can understand the anti BMW badge attitude, although some poeple get a little extreme on forums.... I used to be a little anti BMW but don't really care anymore what people think. I tend to judge a car on more than looks nowdays, although I do like the styling. The 6 series feels really special to drive though, the whole experience sound, handling, grunt from the V8, it even turns heads becasue it's rare.

I always felt it was under damped when pushing hard. This is exagerated with bigger wheels. I found it to wallow on bumpy fast sweeping bends. The Tokico D-Specs are the way to go. These are the same as the Nismo S-Tune, (Tokico make then), and they also have the advantage of being adjustable. As far as getting these are concerned, the are just about impossible to get in the UK. I imported them from the states.

Point taken.. But this is exactly what happened over there. One liners can be misread, e.g. now you think I'm coming on to you. Anyway me dramatic, Oh dear I need to lie down for a while, I feel all dizzy...

RickB was supporting Chubbs and P15 comments although a little more balanced from what I remember.

Mike, There were posts up supporting me but these have beed deleted, (don't forget 2 threads were deleted). I suggested the "Other Cars" Section on the OC be renamed "Other Cars provided you don't mention anything which might be faster that the 350z" ......

Welcome Snake... I've not heard a thing about the banning. I'm not even worthy of a PM from the committee to say they are looking into things...

Chubbs just posted this...... So were my posts "offensive, detrimental to the club, untrue, illegal, inflammatory, harmful". None of these, only facts. They were deleted simply because I disagreed with a moderator. Also I was not PM'd to discuss anything just banned with no reason given. I can't answer back over there but the lies continue......

That's the point, the moderators may think they are doing these things in the best interest of the OC, but from PM's and comments I've read in threads we all know this is not the case. BTW the Thread on Deleted Posts put up by Teatowel, (No 8 in my summary), has now been re-instated. Clearly some of the moderators over there think it was wrong to delete this thread. Mind you all of my postings from this thread have been removed....

Just thought you may also be interested that the Thread posted by Teatowel mention in (8) in my summary has now been deleted. Seems like the 2 moderators in question are starting to cover up their tracks by removing anything which may incriminate them... Winged Rodent - Like your summary and well put...

I now fully understand what happened and the build up to me being banned from the 350z OC and would like to share this with you all. Feel free to read the threads which are left, but please be aware that Moderators deleted some of the evidence. This was disgraceful behaviour by 2 moderators in particular; P15 and Chubbs, and I have been blamed for inappropriate behaviour and my posting rights removed. Interestingly, I’ve had a number of PM’s in my support saying how badly this was dealt with by the moderators. Also, you are either in favour with the OC or not. I was picked upon, whilst Snake Pilskin who was also posting similar merits of the BMW range and questioning the censorship, was left alone. Let me add that I do not believe that either of us did anything wrong. We were simply sharing our experiences of a new car with the 350z, in the Other Cars section I may add. I will try and summarise this and make it as short as possible. 1. Snake Pilskin puts a thread up entitled “BMW 330i beats 350z 0-60â€

Cheers Guys.. Exactly my point. Certain Moderators over there seem to be control freaks. If you read the threads, it all goes sour pretty soon after the Moderators get involved. I don't post over there much. In fact I haven't had the time to post anywhere due to work commitments, but couldn't resist in helping out a fellow BMW owner. I know this was on a 350z thread but it was in the Other Cars section and I was careful to only quote facts not oppinions. They intersting thing is the number of PM's I had saying how badly treated I was. Their actions are not going unoticed by others, that's for certain, without me needing to post here. PS: The missus says she wants to go away next weekend as she as the time off......Wales.... Cheers K

I don't want to start an whole debate of us and them again, but just thought you guys should know that I've been banned on the other side by a ceratin moderator for defending the BMW brand. How out of order is that..

What a fantastic day. My daughter really enjoyed it and did herself proud. I was really worried she would be slow etc. having only just passed her test less than 2 months ago, but she really had a great time and was praised by all the instructors. She also managed to do this all 2 days before she was 18... She started in an Impreza WRX, then onto the DB9. This place is so well organised, the people are friendly and the facilities are great. They have a great range of cars too. Thanks Andy for recommending the place.
