  1. It's a clear plastic film which is almost invisible. It absorbs the impact of stones so bye bye stone chips. I had my 350z done, (first car to have this treatment for me), and have now had my BMW done...
  2. I agree Tokico D-Specs and RS-R Ti2000's are by far the best setup unless you want to go coil over. I would go s far as saying they are just about as good. The only thing you don't get is height adjustment. Loved them on mine and light years better than standard.
  3. Another one bites the dust. So what you getting Dorian? PS: Stick around mate.
  4. Got this from Shell Customer Services today: -
  5. I've stil not heard from Shell after emailing them..
  6. I've emailed the Shell Pluspoints Member helpline asking what's going off. Will keep you posted.
  7. A friend of mine had a V8 Range Rover converted. Now this does pay as he was getting about 14mpg. There is a slight loss of power as the octane is lower and you do use more lpg because of this. Also don't forget the extra weight and the Zed is already a heavy car.. A really crap idea on a performance car IMHO.
  8. I don't think I can make it Glyn. My daughter has 2 horse shows this weekend, which means: - 1. I'll be on me own.. 2. I may be needed to help. Will hopefully sort out later this evening. In anycase, have you seen the weather forecast. Good Luck with the BBQ mate. Best ask for someone to bring a boat...
  9. Very relevant question to ask on this thread mate. Just for the record, the brakes are better than the Zed's. Next time you see a 650i take a look at the size of the brakes and disks.
  10. Parcelforce will do it for £14.25 for up to 10kg I thin it is, (I tried various weights). Normal post office should be a bit cheaper as it's quite light. If you like I'll do it for £40 inclusive. Let me know as I was going to put it on eBay at the weekend. PM me you address if you want it.
  11. I fancied oneo of these but decided a big coupe suited my needs more. I also think it's a good looking car and better than the convertible, but that's as always a personal thing. I read the comparison report, which isn't really fair as to me the Zed is in a different price bracket etc. Understandable the BMW and Porker beat the Zed on perfromance which is the most important category for this type of car. Who cares about tax and fuel economy. Not sure I agree with the residuals. In the short term the Zed is holding value well, but as soon as Nissan decide to face lift in a major way, the Zed will depreciate badly. Forunately the MY06 was only a mild change. As for the dealers, whatever you have to pay for a Nissan service is just a waste of money IMHO, as most are useless..
  12. Sure send me a PM with first & last name & email address
  13. No still available. Never got round to putting on eBay.
  14. No Kev, I didn't get mine either! I suggest we leave it a couple of days then contact Shell.
  15. That shouldn't be a problem at all!! Kev, you have PM! I've filled up twice with the new V-Power and something has happened to my fuel consumption...... Computer was reset 2000 miles ago and was running at 25.3 MPG and an average speed of 32 mph. In the last week, it's now 25.5 and rising. No different driving, same trip to work and back and occasional A / B road play. Coincidence?? Done. Mike didn't get an email so I've entered him again. I'm assuming everyone else has?
  16. Dam it...Never mind, some may fill up 3 times.
  17. Sure PM me your First and Last Name plus email address..
  18. You don't loose any points now so I'd get a card otherwise you are missing out. I'm not covering much mileage at the moment but still just claimed £20 in shell vouchers which can be used for fuel. PS: Happy to recommend anyone else.
  19. I should be able to do any of the dates so put my name down. Provided of course you don't mind an outcast...
  20. Sure don't mind. I only put the thread up to make sure all you Optimax addicts could get some benefits. I've recomended 2 now so why not share the recomendations out amongst us members.
  21. Well it's just let me recommend you also Mike, so I guess there's no limit. I'm liking this...
  22. Right Jacko recommended. Not sure how many I can recommend but seems a good deal and gets you off to a good start. IT says Shell will be sending an email inviting Jacko to join..
  23. No anyone can sign up. It's simply a loyality card, (1 point per litre I believe), and you do get more points for V-Power fuel, (renamed optimax but now 99 octane). Sign up here http://www.shellpluspoints.com/welcome/Index.asp or PM me you first and last name plus email address and if I recommed you we both get 750 points which is worth £5 each...
  24. Received my card today replacing the Shell Plus Points card. I've had my card for a few years now and mainly claim the £10 for each 1500 points. Just realised I have over 3,000 points so time to claim again. Anyone else here got one?
  25. Tim, SSR Professors's are cheaper Work Meister copies. I believe they recently went bust but have started up making them again. With those offsets I'd say rears would rub and front unlikely to even fit in the arch..
