  1. True, but the argument is the same. If you can afford a car in band G you can afford 56p per day more car tax, so will have no impact. It's only roughly 4 tanks of fuel we're talking about here.
  2. Yes outrageous, but my point is it will have a Zero impact. Is the 3% stamp duty on houses stopping those over £250k from selling? Not a bit. Clearly the only way to reduce polution is to:- 1. Technology on cars 2. Persuading us to not use our cars as much. 1 is happening anyway, and 2 the government is doing nothing about as usual. Otherwise we would have a public transport system which worked and was a serious alternative.
  3. Barsteward...that's me fooked... Mind you think about it, even at the £400 a year rate that's a whopping 56p per day more car tax. Do they really think this will have an impact? Wont stop me. It's purely a political statement which will have no affect other than riasing more tax revenue for the government. PS: My Cossie does about 8 mpg on the track. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Gordon, and it's got no cats.... Ironically this car is too old to be affected.
  4. I've just signed 7 Transport Petitions, see below http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/list/open?cat=521
  5. Thanks Yep - wanted a yellow one but couldn't get one. Quite an elite club apparently Neil Only 75 other priviliged ones Ignore the UY jibes they are all closet UY lovers theres more than 75 yellow ones, dont believe the hype theres bloody 000's in Japan waiting to come over True. It was only limited in the UK. UY is available as a standard colour in most markets. In the US it's only available on the anniverary car, but production wasn't limited. Still rare in the UK though...
  6. No, that's the advatage of the RS-R's. I searched my350z.com and no one needed to adjust the geometry. The Eibachs lower about 40mm and this will need camber adjustment. As for the D-Spec's, these are a great setup. They fit superb too. Check with Val as to the settings he has. I'm struggling to remember what we set his to.
  7. What I wasn't keen on with the Tein's is that they lower the fronts more than the rears. I've got some pictures somewhere. Looked too low at the front to me. The zed is already lower at the front than rear and this exagerates it. Do you want me to find a picture? There's loads on my350z.com
  8. Fancy been lead driver again? Yeah can do if needs be...... no skin off my nose! You seem to be doing a good job of organising for now though! Welcome back mate... You did a great job 1st time around, (missed the last one), especially keeping the group together... Hope to see you on the 15th... You ought to be the pace car this time round in the Bmw Moto GP.....

  10. This is the stupid inconsist charging. Derby to London return is £109... How on earth can they justify that. The charges should be fixed on a mileage covered basis to make sure they are fair. If train fares continue to rise more people will start using their cars instead. Just my little rant. I'll shut up now...
  11. This really winds me up too and it won't stop me driving my car for certain... I read an articule today saying the top groups would go up to £2k over the next few years... Why o Why won't the government step in and sort the appalling train network. I use the train to go to London regularly and at £109 for a return ticket, I can easily drive into London for about half the cost of a train jounrey and that's in my V8 gas guzzler. Which I now do occasionally. Where's the sense in that?...
  12. Made me laugh laugh laugh....
  13. On the ACS, the rear bumper valance is shaped to suit the ACS tail pipes which are a bit special so unlikey to be able to reproduce, (very clever ACS). Also, an after market exhaust isn't going to be cheap as it's a full twin system. Blue flame quoted me £650.
  14. It's an advert that's kind of a game. Good fun. Took me 17 scenes to complete... https://www.patriotadventure.com/wbt/?
  15. My driver's seat leather was sagging after 5k miles. Som epeople have managed to get them replaced but it is a common fault.

  18. I do wish I had an M6, just as every 3 series owner wants an M3. Just don't fancy the running costs, SMG fuel consumption, insurance etc. As for kits, It's all about personal preference but for me it's OEM stuff over aftermarket stuff. I like the ACS stuff but it's sooo expensive and a bit rad.

  20. Calm down guys. Powder coating is more durable without doubt, but if its just the centres they should stand up with normal paint. It also allows you to test the colour and if you don't like if not much money lost.

  22. Is this really true, thought it was a bit of an urban myth, as don't you need the police to be at the toll booth? I've seen pictures of a Scooby on a French Moorway doing 165mph...
  23. But I'm happy for everyone to know it's a 650i. If I de-badged it they will think it's a fake M6 that's a 630i underneath... I might consider a subtle M badge..? Take off the BMW badges Kev, some people will think it's a Datsun How about NO.... Typical of you lot. I'm talking about wheels and bumpers and all you lot can think about is badges.....
