  1. David, check here http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=Z33TM-CD000 it says it's definitely NOT for the roadster
  2. Good to meet you too Jim, and Chris as well - haven't fitted the vent trims yet, but they look good Seeing Chris' car has given plenty of ideas for further mods - will possibly get myself a CF radiator cover panel, and also quite liked the CF strut cove Gus

    Wiper Controls

Sure thing, should have included that http://www.priracing.com/section.php?xSec=39&jssCart=f9a87546fa4d3b8dae7406bf3db10f87 Gus

    Wiper Controls

A lot easier to use the PIAA silicon wipers - gives the same effect, without the effort Gus
  5. From your point of view, definitely better going for a performance car specialist. From a second hand point of view - how long do you plan to keep it ? The longer, the less impact this will have. People buying a 2-4 year old car expect to see dealer stamps. Older than that, and especially if you sell privately to an enthusiast, then not an issue ( may even be looked upon favourably, if the garage has a good reputation and the enthusiast buyer is local ) Gus
  6. Sheena, Not sure if you spotted this, but Chris at funkystyling also does a replacermet badge -> http://www.funkystyling.co.uk/item_detail.php?prodID=449002536 Gus
  7. Has anyone got a carbon strut cover ? Looks nice in the photos, but would be interested on anyone's views who has one or has seen one Gus
  8. Or, being really radical here, you could always try the owners handbook, you know the thing in the nice leather wallet in the glove-box Gus

    Wiper Controls

This ain't in the manual, but was pointed out about 2 years ago on the old site ( definitely worth mentioning again given the number of new users ), then if you twist it and stop between the clicks, then you get an in-between time delay. ie if one position is every 2 secs, and the next is every 4 secs, then if you leave it half way between it does every 3 secs. I didn't believe it either the first time someone mentioned it ( UKLooney, I seem to recall for those with long memories - Val ? ) - but it does seem to work Gus
  10. Don't know anything about these - are they just reader's or can they do updates ? Basically, if you guarantee there's no possibility of them doing any damage, then you're welcome to use mine. Gus ps Funky, can you bring along a set of vent trims - I may want to buy, but would like to see your's in the flesh first.

    GT Pack

The 6 CD autochanger is included in the Base model. The difference is the GT pack one says BOSE on it Both are in-dash double-din units. Gus
  12. A couple of years ago, you could post-whore with the best of them Val Gus
  13. It has been confirmed that there won't be a new Supra, despite some photoshops doing the rounds a while back Gus
  14. Although it may be GENUINE Nissan, beware it is not GENUINE Carbon, just genuine carbon-looking Assuming, of course, that Nissan haven't changed this recently - can't see it myself though I seem to recall that Nissan charge an extortionate amount for one of these - sure it's over £100 Gus
  15. Steve, The thread on the OC is becoming somewhat heated, so I thought I would ask a genuine question here ( and also because the answer may affect the people that use this site ). I will admit in advance that I mainly use the OC site, but enjoy both. My question is intended as a regular user of both. Your 3rd aim, as stated on your "promotion" thread on the OC site was to "Join this and the other 350z UK club together". If I was being pedantic, then in my interpretation that is a stage further than what you told the people here higher up this thread, ie "try to see if we could all come together and play happy families", but I may be nit picking and understand ( I think ) your aim. My question is, have you discussed this with the administrators here ? When you were questioned on the OC as to which site you saw surviving, going forward, you said you didn't care - that implies that you see a possibility of this site shutting down and users moving to a free OC site ( and obviosuly there are 2 other options, ie the OC site move here, or a new site appears ). Having met Val personally earlier in the year, and exchanging PMs with Chesterfield earlier in the year, then my feeling was that both these guys ( and the others who I'm sorry to admit I am not aware of ) have put in a lot of effort, and are justifiably proud of what they have achieved, and are very keen to make this site work. I do not want to pre-judge their views, but would be interesting to know if you have the backing of those behind this site, or if this is a personal campaign. Thanks, Gus
  16. Hey, good to hear from you Donald - did you sell the the R33 to that bird that was interested at Knockhill ? What you driving now ? What's Gordon driving - thought he was a long term owner, to be honest. Surprised to hear Andy has gone for the new Civic, given that there is no sporty version out yet Thought he's be waiting for the new CTR Gus
  17. That was Andy, or (AndyCTR as he was on the old forum - yup, you guessed it, he previously had a Civic ). He sold up to buy a Impreza WR1 ( the light blue limited edition model ), earlier this year, so the second owner must be selling now. Gus Did he pay for the plate??? Yep, paid for it thru DVLA - got the idea I believe from the old site, where the original site creator ( aka SqueakyZ ), bought MY03 ZED for his new Zed which was one of the original batch. Did anyone get MY05 ZED or MY06 ZED ?? Gus
  18. Sarnie, Don't worry, you cannot be done by Gatsos on the other side of the road facing you. The only ones that can do you from the front are Truvelos, but I think they are always on your side of the road ( or perhaps on central reservation of dual carriageway, but never on the far side of the road ) Gus ps It can actually be fun if you time it right to deliberately set one off when someone else is passing going the other way

    Tyres

I got my last set of Toyo Proxes T1-Rs, in standard size, from blackcircles.com - about £550 I think. Prices change all the time - I think you get a discount here as well. Gus
  20. Zed, at the Bealach na Ba, en route to Applecross. The Cuillin mountains of the Isle of Skye in the background Oh happy days Gus
  21. The first picture was at a hotel at Otter Ferry on the shores of Loch Fyne, the second one is in the town of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. Gus
  22. That was Andy, or (AndyCTR as he was on the old forum - yup, you guessed it, he previously had a Civic ). He sold up to buy a Impreza WR1 ( the light blue limited edition model ), earlier this year, so the second owner must be selling now. Gus
  23. You mean like this April 2004, my Zed a few days old Gus
