  1. The US and European connections are the same, the Jap ones are different. Gus
  2. It really does make a difference if you go to a more rural garage, rather than an inner city one. I was quoted £180 by the same group, ie Arnold Clark, in Edinburgh itself. When I queried the Livingston dealer as to why they were so much cheaper, they said it was to do with the extortionate business rates in the city, which result in a far higher hourly rate. So, if you know of any near you, outside the major cities, might be worth a small detour - certainly was for me Gus
  3. I paid about £120 ( provided my own oil ) in December at Arnold Clark, Livingston ( near Edinburgh ) Gus

    Hamann M6

Don't think the 6-series looks too good, from either front or back. Supposed to be a good drive though, especially in M format. I guess if you were giving it away I'd take one Gus
  5. Val, you tease............... Val, we're still waiting................. Is this an "Italian" soon ? ie a few months ? Gus
  6. Val, Yes I agree that the info wasn't in the free forums - it was moved on the 10th January, so wasn't just done because I started asking questions. I just used this as an example of the type of post that I thought would be suitable to cross reference, without checking to see if the answer was indeed in the free area - apologies if that confused things. Gus
  7. OK, doesn't look like it will be happenning, so cut and paste......... Gus ps Thanks for unlocking this Val, can now be re-locked.
  8. Not sure I could be bothered doing this too often, but as I started on this one ........... "If you look under the seat there is a tubular bar that is located into the side plates of the seat, it is not solid fixed so you end up with the bar rubbing on the end plates. A good blob of grease on each end solves the problem and can be done without removing the seat, did mine six months ago and no more problems."[/img]
  9. This was the question I was referring to in the post about answers being on the OC site ( I never got to reply to my own thread as it is now locked ). Anyway, all I will say is that photos with arrows showing where to apply the grease exist "elsewhere" but I can't be any more specific than that Gus
  10. What's the moderators views on responding to questions being asked here, where the answer already exists on the public area of the "other channel". Do you approve of a link to the relevant post on the OC site ? Gus
  11. Looks absolutely sh*** IMO Chavs R US Gus
  12. Revsport, Any pics with the CE28Ns ?? They are my favourites - did you go for silver, bronze or gold ? Don't worry about being unique though - I've no spare cash to get any Gus
  13. My main criticism, looks wise, of the G35 is the rear light clusters - really spoil the looks of the rear end IMO - I see they've left them unchanged Gus
  14. Looks like it has mirrors to me Gus
  15. The indicators flash twice when openning the car, and once when locking the car - don't know about what happens if the alarm has been triggered in your absence though Gus
