  1. Not exactly the same, but these are also nice looking, especially in Satin as it matches the door handles - I bought from this guy a few years ago if that's any comfort. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350z-bodyk ... 1e5b3217d5
  2. So, have I got this right - these are non-branded carbon b-pillar covers that you are trying to pretend are Nismo Never understood this sort of thing myself - those that don't know any better will never have heard of Nismo, so it won't mean anything to them, and those that do know will immediately spot that they are fake and think it's a poor excuse for the real thing....... it's not like the proper Nismo ones just have a badge stuck on. A bit like those 318s you see with the M3 badge on the back Why not just be happy with carbon fibre b-pillars, they are a tasty upgrade in their right, why try and make them look like Nismo ones when they're not. C'mon lads, don't cheapen these beautiful cars with stuck on fake badges
  3. Hi Jim, cars good thanks, not quite as special as the 350Z was though. Pop in here to look fairly regularly but not often there's anything I can contribute on
  4. If you go to Pistonheads forum, then advanced search, and search for word "leather" in forum "Scotland" you'll get a few threads where people have asked for the same recommendation. Wullie ramsay loanhead 0131 440 0555 seems to be the favourite, but there are some other names as well Gus
  5. No probs, the only reason I know all this is I'm a Sonyphile myself and have also been looking to change. Note that although the 5500 series is still being sold in Sony shops, I think the 5710 is newer ( ie 5710 without Freesat, 5810 with Freesat ). I've done a model comparison between the 5500 and 5710 and technically they seem identical, so maybe just a newer casing design. Might be worth going into your local Sony shop and checking this out - most of the guys in these shops know their stuff, unlike some of the staff you find in Comet/Dixons/etc Think'll you'll be able to pick up a 5500 cheaper than a 5710, but if you're someone that wants the latest model than the 5710 is the one. Note that 3Fiddy posted a link to the 2010 model the 37EX403 - couldn't see any info on whether 50 or 100Hz, there may well be a whole new range of them. Gus
  6. You may know the naming convention already Sarnie, but if not it hasn't been posted already and you should understand the differences between all the models :- V series is 50Hz, whereas W series 100Hz ( Z series is 200Hz but they don't do a 37" model ) 5810 means it comes with FreeSat which you may not need if you use Sky, or cable. So the most expensive that you linked to was the V5810, but if you don't need FreeSat then the W5500 is better because of the 100Hz. HTH Gus
  7. Mine was very regular that when the light on the dash came on, the most I could ever fit in was 65 litres, ie there was still 15 litres => 3+ gallons, ie 75+ miles
  8. Hey, R800NER, glad you're liking the wheels, they look schweet on your motta , glad they've gone to a good home. Jim, hope you can get a set sometime Gus
  9. Really needs the Y pipe too, although sure this could be sourced seperately from Envy/Chillis
  10. Sarnie, I used www.parcel2go.com to ship my wheels a couple of days ago. They just seem to use up spare capacity with the main carriers DHL, etc. I got the wheels ( 4 * 23kg ) sent for £32 with DHL, going to the DHL site directly was a ridiculous amount. HTH Gus
