  1. just hope for the house market to remain as strong now! well done, best colour too. One thing that's always been missing from a Gallardo is a Lambo tradition: Lambo doors. Any kit for it???? :teeth: oh and if you want driving tips, ask Debbie.... (hers was the E-gear one though)
  2. hmmm not sure what front bumper that is!
  3. aren't these guys trading from GForce's old premises? (and hired the same people who worked for G-Force) if it's the same people, I would thoroughly ask where they get their mapping done... as old G-Force managed to destroy about every single APS TT conversion they did on a Z
  4. map's already in and actually ran on it for a few miles a while back with no issues. Thing is though, the map is not going to be 100% tailor made for MY car, hence the need to "refining it" on a dyno also to see bhp/tq increase/decrease.

    CLUB T-SHIRTS

think we only have black available? Max please confirm.
  6. I've already got a proper map made by (Gus) Westpak on Jaysen's (tech admin) old car who had very similar mods to mine. It's just a matter of adapting it to my Z. TDi and Abbey are way too far, not worth the trip unfortunately. (I didn't contact Mark since he's in the deep south, I did speak multiple times with TDi North guy (been so long I've forgotten his name!) who seemed ok with it but has never managed to fit me in. WRC said 2 max 3 hrs which is realistic imo also no installation time required as it's already in place incl. remote map switch
  7. go on then Max theMinel Digsy come on NW owners, this is a relaxed all Jap cars meet, some nice pub food and a good atmosphere
  8. but any types of decats won't pass emission tests afaik, that's why I called them "illegal" Am I right in assuming that they test emissions at MOT time? Therefore you would fail your MOT by having decats? Not always, It has been known for cars to pass even with decats. Also depends on who does your MOT for you I don't think a Z would ever pass an emission test with decats on, if the test is done correctly and the equipment works ok. My Z just about passed it with hi-flows...
  9. Whys that? Are there no other places in the UK that can service and look after them? usually if you have issues you go back to your original installer and since WRC were APS official delaers, it was a good position to start from
  10. also driven in california with no need for any other licence
  11. Probably as well it happened before you took it in why? Chris was very confident when i spoke to him at JTS and would have been sorted in 2 hours max. just a case of getting familiarised with the UTEC layout and interface, then anyone who knows what they are doing re. mapping would more than capable of doing it, and he does (as the many TT Z on std internals around can testify). Wasn't expecting on having any issues whatsoever, worst case scenario would have just meant pressing a button and reversing to map 0 (stock map, ECU 100% in control)
  12. FFS! I was booked in on the 20th July to have my UTEC mapped! shame to lose the tuners with most experience in installing and mapping APS kits too
  13. Actually Val, you're incorrect (for once ). I've just referred to the 2007 catalogue that I have in my hands now and you can get Frost leather seats in ANY colour body you want! Anyway, I'm sure that car was Black.... I did say "I'm not even sure" and not having a 2007 brochure I didn't make any solid statement As for the colour, it's the tinge it was showing on some shots that made me think it's the new (shitty) blue rather than Ebisu black. Could be wrong, but didn't look totally black to me. Also, at Silverstone the new blue even under bright sunshine still looked black with a vague green tinge
  14. no idea why I'm not on that list (see page one), but I'm a maybe
  15. you can get NA gains, but they aren't cost effective, compared to FI. Tomei do great stuff for the Z and so do Amuse... good idea to get it tuned in japan directly!! PS both Tuning companies (and their parts) are amongst the most expensive around (at least when they get here!)
  16. but any types of decats won't pass emission tests afaik, that's why I called them "illegal"
  17. if it works it would be a first (a stroker kit for the NA Z that is remotely reliable, that is )
  18. so a stroker kit with no FI?
  19. with this I don't. ask how many peole on here have adjustable camber kits (zero or possibly one or two guys). Stock IIRC front camber is NOT adjustable, (or not adjustable enough for what I remember) and if people went with your recommendation (MUCH wider setups) they might (and imo will) end up with a car that handles very differently and imo worse than stock.
  20. with this I agree with you (although on this forum a couple membersincluding prescience and dash once wanted me to beleive it wasn't true... some wise words from a race engineer put an end to the discussion )
  21. the fact that you adjusted the CAMBER to your liking on what you are running now is imo what made the difference in the handling, NOT the wider tyres in the front. Most people here won't adjust the camber so imo it's a bit misleading to say tyres as wide as 265 on the front won't make your Z tramline or undrsteer more than a stock setup (same tyre tyre)
