but why do you recommend 30 profile height? this would give % differences from OEM specs which are all (front and rears) over -2.5%??? surely 35 is much closer to the original figures a 265x30x19 would give a difference of -2.73% vs std ratio and 285x30x19 would give an enormous -3.54% vs std! PS my 245/275 combo on 18x9 and 18x10 wheels fit just fine

I'm afraid they now have this terrorism excuse. When I changed my front bumper I couldn't be arsed taking the plate of the oem bumper and since I had another plate (different characters from standard but perfectly readable...rear plate was perfectly legal) they stopped me on the M62 at 8.30 in the morning to give me the same £30 fine, the excuse they gae me was that if I'd been in an accident, say a hit and run, a witness could have not remembered the plate due to the different (and perfectly readable) characters. Bollox, excuses excuses only because you are jealous of my car, mate . I told him when he was handing me the £30 fine (had tried to be nice and polite to try and avoid the fine, but he was quite resolute) why wasn't he catching the many speeding motorists on the same motorway, or even those driving while chatting on their mobile. He couldn't give me an answer, I say probably a bit too much paperwork as there's points involved PS took me over 1 hr to get home from 5.15pm from Warrington mate, so you wouldn't have escaped the traffic anyway leaving later

well with my 245 fronts I can already feel the difference vs stock setup, and for my liking anything wider on the front and it'll be completely ruining the handling. 245 imo are perfect and I found no understeer (but this is also due to the type of tyres since the RE040 were more prone to understeer than the T1R) next Adam you'll tell me 20" wheels don't affect ride comfort

tbh the only "working" one I've heard of is the GT Motorsports one. And they've only done a couple of cars with it on, both with Forced Induction (Twin turbo kits) Previous stroker kits have had major issues according to the info on the US boards (AEBS and antoher kit that was available for whcih i can't remember the name) Noone in the UK afaik has even tried to fit one on a Z

tbh I'm more worried about hardware failures, whcih I know are very infrequent, but do happen (I've only had 1 HD fail on me in what, 15 years of using a PC? ) my XP build is extremely stable (as opposed to previous Windows versions) and never really had many issue from the software point. I am also competent enough not to corrupt my own system I just wanted something that, in case of upgrade (new HD for examples), whether it's forced or voluntary, would be able to restore my PC as it is currently, from 1 or more DVD backups.
