coming on nicely, i like the idea, i'm very similiar, always got to have something on the go. if it helps as a reccommendation, when you come to redo the control area maybe to use a sheet of acrylic, especially as if you ask me nicely i can cut out all the holes and fixing points with my laser cutter at work, i'd just need a good working drawing so i could put it into cad for you before i cut it. if that helps let me know.

just out of interest, those going on sunday, what are you setting your tyre pressures at. most cars have 2 pressure settings, normal and heavily ladened, but the Zed only has 1 which is 35 psi all round. the organizers say to inflate your tyres to there higher setting, or is it to just over inflate them generally? are we talking 2, 3 4, 5 PSI I'm not sure and could do with the advice.

the best small businesses are built on word of mouth, if you build up a good reputation and have a solid customer base then you'll have a business, especially if its a nice sideline business. its not like your leaving your day job to do this, and if business picks up you could always higher another person to man the shop while your out. is it a huge expense to go ltd.?

personally i would go for it, maybe use the price as method of showing your new in, that way you can explain that you don't change the same as a professional detailer as your more semi proffessional. but to be honest all detailers have to start somewhere. if you have a good and happy customer base already and you've done a good job, then why not. yes they are more expensive cars, but at the end of the day, all your working on is the paint, and there isn't a huge difference in paint between cars apart from the thickness, and the conent which alters the colour or adds flip paint etc or metal flecks. if that car company let the apprentices near ferrari's and they were useless its unlikely your going to do any damage.

No way is that pricing anywhere near correct: T1Rs more than the PS2s?! No chance, they'd be cheaper than all of them. Maybe R1Rs or 888s, but not T1Rs. Taken off Black circles where poss... depends where you buy em, but the general gist still stands...tyres can be put into categories in terms of how much u willing to spend, how much grip or durability is important to you.. My last post didn't work, as the network dropped out, but the jist of what i was saying was that the falkens and toyos are just mid range tyres. and the rest were UHP (ultra high performance) tyres. as for the ultracs, was that price for the standard ultracs or the ssantas as there is a big difference in performance on the ssantas. will have to go and check them out.

i'm looking for a sheet of black anodised mesh as well for my nismo bumper. the zun sport ones are good, but they are made to measure the standard bumper and only the facelift version i think, and i think Ho, like me, just wants sheet of mesh

i have found it depends on the brand and the dealer ship. some garages are good some are bad, small family businesses tend to be good, more welcoming, (not always), my experiences so far in the last 10 years. BMW - excellent customer services, been to several always a pleasure Audi - never made me feel good, always felt like i wasn't up to the brand standard (helpful, but while still looking down there nose) Nissan - mixed bag - depends on the dealer ship, most don't know there prestige cars, but could probably sell you a really good deal on a micra VW - varies on the garage, but most have been good felt welcome stowmarket, i now feel like part of the family after buying my wifes car there Toyota - always had good customer care there especially chelmsford Honda - another VW style garage, generally good, know there cars and helpful - best one was the one in stoke - think there nissan branch is on here Mini - generally good, but do like to pester on the after visit phone calls others i haven't tried biggest thing i've found is how i turn up to them, its like the good old days of visiting the bank manager, dress smart and you normally get a good treatment. car dealers think they can smell money, so if you dress the part they tend to be good. i once blagged a z4m coupe for a weekend once. and i had a mate who got an M3 for the weekend.
