I'm out of ideas nearly. I vaguly remember someone else having a noise issue and it was so ethong to do with there susspension, but that was more a knocking noise. Without being in the car it's very hard to diagnose anything. When you go back tomorrow it might be worth taking one of the fitters for a drive and see if he can hear it.

as far as i'm aware they used the same power plant in all of them, nissan didn't redesign the engine for the japanese market. although the ECU is different.

what kind of look are you going for? an updated stock look, or something extreme?

its not my thing to be honest, i like the idea, but i can't see the need. this site fills all my Zed needs, i'm not even registered on any of the american ones. i know its in its early days but i don't think it can rival the knowledge base we have here. or the quality and number of traders we have, or the fact that we're reaching a size where we get good discounts and involvment in the wider modding scene. i wish them the best with it, and i hope it does well for them. but i'm happy with my familiar site here. not only that but i'd have to start serious spamming on there to get my post count anywhere close to what i've got it on here

am going to hold off on a couple of mods and see what your prices are like. was going to get some racoon stuff done, but may wait and see.

whats the tyre wear like on the wheel, is it even or is it more worn to one side. might be need adjustment. also check the tyre for any blisters or bulbous sections, especially on theinside of the tyre wall where you cant see.

well i just had a browse around and it looks like it was started by macdaddy and his partner, i think thety were the couple who had an R32 and wanted to swap for a Zed. looks like he was heavily involved in the R32 club scene and has decided to start his own forum. Fair play to him

I wish that were true, but ifear with he new world order andthe needed for plate recognition cameras every where that a plate is compulsory. But I think it's legal to display it in the window as long as it's clear. I have a mate who's a copper so I'll check with him.

My cassette adapter is a temporary measure until I get the new headunit in.

What trev said. It's a heavy car so jacking it up will give you a more accurate feel of he wheel without the weight pushing it into the ground.

I have a friend who runs his bs with no front plate. And the car has nevr been stopped In years but it's not his daily drive. Might end up velcoring it in the middle so I can take it off for shows.

My long term goal is to add the 4100DVD. My satnav, which is a pioneer f500 currently works through the Bose system. I don't know how the standard one is wired up. Who you getting to fit it? I know there are some reccommend fitters on here who are familiar with the zed. If your close enough it might be worth trying them.

Haven't worked out what to with the front number plate. Going to leave it off for now and keep the plate on the dash. Either going to cut down the original so it has a 5 mm border, or thinkof something else. Really think the number plate spoils the front of the car. I know some people attatch it to the passenger sun visor. Bt don't know what the legalities are?
