i have the G200 which is very similar the only difference is the kink where the x pipe goes. i really like it, and its a very useable exhaust, daily driving its not intrusive, and if you give it full beans it does sound good. i found on stock setup if i went through a tunnel i didn't really have any noise. but this does give me that, and the car is very useable for long journeys. i also have the tyhpoon induction system and soon to have the corbonised carbon plenum and spacer. muddy has the same as me

whats that in normal terms, i'm not very eurofied, need it mpg, kmpl is just french to me

yellow stuff is a good choice, not as hard on the wllet as the others but better than stock. and better than the red stuff pads. red stuff are equivilant to OEM. ferodo ds2500 are good as well, didn't ferodo offer another pad thats just below this one which was quite a good choice as well?

i'd have the m3 over the saxo anyday. it might be quicker but it still looks like a barry car i'd rather the comfort of the leather seats, climate control and intigrated sat nav and on board computer comapred to the tin can that is a saxo. they do make good cheap track crs though. strip a VTR out and race prep it and its a very capable little go kart.

best way to improve MPG is weight saving, so i leave the wife at home only kidding lucy i love going for a drive with my wife and shes only a small slip of a girl she'd be better off driving my car and leaving me behind, i'm the weight issue in our house

fairplay, wasn't picking on you for it, just felt for me that its not very economical oil wise. but if your mate reuses it then i suppose thats recycling for the environment covered i do lots of short jouneys too but i'm just a tight git i suppose just have to look at our service intervals, technically we service our cars every 18,000 miles with the p2 and p3 being full services. the intermediary p1's are just an oil change. so technically we service our cars every 18,000 with oil changes every 9000, what ever makes you happy jerry

as they say, repitition is good for the memory, i got told off last time for telling some to go search it as its been done so many times before and we have like 100 threads on fuel consumption, each one saying exactly the same. and have refrained from the other comments on how some peoples are now doing 300000000mpg due to a new dolhin valve being fitted, or an uprated donkey flange that now gives them 100000000 bhp and 2000 mpg. they all have to start somewhere and i was in a nice mood so i posted a straight answer for once

i use bp ultimate alot and its good stuff, or occassionally use tesco 99 ron. shell 99 ron is good as well sainsbury premium is cack as is texaco

if you've go tdecent oil in then you should only need to do it every 9000 miles, that why we have the short intervals. most normal cars go 20,000 before a service. doing them at 3k with silkolene is just a waste of oil as the stuff your removing isn't even worn in yet. i could possibly understand oil changing regularly if you tracked your car every other weekend but as a daily driver i personally think its over kill, especially when 5 litres of silkolene is about £55, thats over £160 in oil a year.

i fill mine till i see it in the filler cap and level won't go down anymore

another biggie is the fuel you put in, i see a differnece if i put cheap stuff in.

my MPG ranges from 11mpg when i tracked it, to 32mpg when i do long haul. and on average its about 25mpg for day to day use. i'm not to worried, i bought the car for its performance not its mpg.
