i'd say go orange then. match to the samco hoses

wasn't offering red as an option, your right it wouldn't suit an orange. personally if you painted the airbox orange it would be to much bulk colour up front. you could do orange on the engine cover, and that would work well, its central and the eye is drawn to it. you can't spray it black as that defeats the object, and if you use a chrome paint its just going to look tacky. i took mine out for that exact reason, its just such a horrible lump of plastic in the engine bay. and your going to struggle to hide it. i think orange is possibly your only option. try photoshopping it. it might work if your going to use a CF engine cover, that way the block of colour is else where. sorry i'm rambling

have you got any other colours going on in the engine bay. for me i went with a red theme because i got an earthing kit cheap off a member on here and it was red, so went with that

it could possibly be skinned in carbon, but its not a job i'd want to try, to many fiddly bits and mould fins. personally i'd paint it if you want to change it. good rub down first to remove the plastic texture and then pic a colour and spray. i went for the Typhoon system got a carbon lid and removed the stock box. it might loose a couple of BHP but to be honest you'd never notice if it has and it sounds so much better.

Can my German Sheppard join in? wouldn't that make it a tear and share snack to be honest, most of the cats i know are in charge of a house regardless of how big or how many dogs there are. normally the dog gets swiped around the face, and from then on the cats in charge my parents old cat was part siamese part russian blue, and on 1 occasion beat up 2 Dobermans, and on another had 2 beagles cowering under a table my mum had to go and appologies to the neighbours for her cat beating up their dogs

Well i was really chuffed on Thursday, Team AFM who have been doing all my bodykit work invited me to join them for the afternoon down at Woodbridge MOD as they were partaking in a track session down there with Javalin track days. they had one of their cars down there and offered to take me for a few passenger laps of temporary circuit that was set up down there. i had loads of fun it was a fantastic experience and Rick the boss is a very experienced Race driver showed me what the car could do. this is there smaller car. its a BMW 1 series Diesel that they use in several cups. its stripped out inside, but the only external work has been removing the emmissions sensor(or something like that) a remap and some exhaust work (maybe one or to other things.) and uprated brake pads. still running fairly stock. For those of you who don't know Team AFM stands for Alternative Fuel Motor sports, and a lot of the stuff they are building for the race world revolve around this. but they will build and tune anything. this thing was bloody quick for a diesel, and was alot better in the corners than most things out there. i think we did something like 8 laps and the braking on it was phenomenal, due to the 5 point harness my nuts are not up near my stomach. but it was great fun. it makes for a fairly cheap race car. as it was pretty standard. and considering he had been tracking it all day, it only used about £40 of fuel. its definaly opened my eyes to building a diesel track car. this is their baby track car, the daddy of their workshop id there £115,000 1 series Diesel Touring car, sadly he didn't bring it down but hopefully he might do soon and i'll get to experience that. as apparently that thing is a beast. one thing i will add, for a diesel it sounded pretty funky. and quiet mean. a bit tractor at low revs but once under heavy driving, i quite liked it. anyways i thought i would share my great afternoon with you. and a kind of a thanks to rick if he reads this for free ride If anyone in the suffolk area is interested apparently javelin are at MOD woodbridge once a month. so i;m sure you could get yourself on the list for driving your own car out there. the track setup is very twisty and made for a great drive. and anyone interested in some track driving tuition Rick is looking and doing this on a more regular basis. (he does it here and there) he is a very good racing driver, and its a shame he's not on the track more, but he has been more focussed on the business and has sadly given that side up for a bit.

i think its the light as the red almost matches in with the red zed. if keep spending money on the car though my nuts will be an interesting shade of black and blue

Finally got round to fitting the wheel centres from rob. they are about 1 mm to short so will let rob know so he can alter them before the next lot go out. but its not noticeable once fitted, and when i have the wheels refurb in black i'll get them to match in the tiny lip that is visible. also big thanks to sarah at envy for sorting out my 5zigen light weight lug nuts. they on now at the same time cos i liked them, but will look better once the wheels are all satin black. If people were planning on fitting them to silver wheels i'm sure rob could do a different background for you. but you'd need to speak direct to rob.

i love the suttleness of it, only thing i would do long term plans wise is spray the front of the car either side of the car, the bits that run either side of the bonnet, to tie it in with the rest of the 2 tone car.

none taken dan, pesonally i think the finish is good. the photos i took of the areas that hadn't been so good like the doorsill area and the small gap on the drivers side rear arch/skirt area. were more to show the issue with the skirts and possibly why its better to get originals not copies. its difficult to show it, but the idea was to show what the bodyshop were able to do with it. just out of interest, and no offence would be taken were those the areas that you felt weren't up to scratch, or were there others that you'd spotted that i hadn't if you'd seen the bumper before they had it you'd see how much work had gone in to the front bumper. sadly i don't have any pics, as i can't find them on my profile. don't think i saved the ones from the original owner. but basically the front had been split under the skirt, and on the top of the fixings, it had chips, holes dents etc. and looked a real mess. i wouldn't hesitate to reccomend Team AFM they did a good job with a cheap kit.

20mm all round from Eibach. if you don't plan to lower it you could go 25mm at the rear and 20mm at the front.

Not going for the red lip now then Rich? possibly but at a later date. wheels might be postponed till after the winter, trying to sort out other things.
