  1. thats what i'm talking about sarnie, the 370 is more a side step than a step up.
  2. lol i like the fact i got a "sort of " hahaha you just said what i was trying to say but i did it in such a long winded fashion
  3. love the look of that. don't normally like ones like the K1, just don't think the rear cans are that asthetically pleasing, but that is a sexy bit of kit. i'm already true dual, but what kind of price are you looking at for domething like that?
  4. if it was a case of buying from scratch and never owning the zed i'd possibly go for the 70, but now i have the 50 i wouldn't upgrade to the 70. i'd meld the 2, i'd keep the 50 exterior, and put the 70 innterior in it. for me now, when the time to change comes i'll move on to something different. nothing against the 70, but i like to change to something completely differeetn when i move cars. never bought the same brand twice.
  5. under a fiver i know its probably true but i cant belive nissan sell anything else for a fiver i could be wrong, but i'm sure in previous discussions people have go tthem for sod all. although ti could be £5 for the bic biro to write in it with and £100 for the book
  6. think nissan is the only place to get an official nissan service book, but thery arent expensive, am sure a few people on here have got them and it was under a fiver.
  7. usual oil values on the zed are either 5w30 or 10w40 might be worth trying to flog it on the RX7 club site as well. its a cracking oil though good choice, lots run the same brand on here.
  8. their mark ps don't seem to bad, had a browse on the site. as long as they are willing to negotiate on price then it aint that bad. still wouldn't buy from them though
  9. thats it woodsport my mate has the first UK v6 roadster, and its a great car, although i think he's planning on now making it the first supercharged v6 roadster. On ROC back in the day woodsport got better reviews than Rogue. lol. the roadster was definatly a great handling car and the ROC are getting more mr2OC converts who had realised how much better the chassis is on the roadster and how its a better driving car than the older mk2's well coming from the Mk3 and going to the Zed, the zed is another step up again. although tis heavier it still gives great feedback and grips to the road like sh1t to a bears arse. extremely well balanced and when i took it on a recent airfield day found it an extremely good handling car, easy to catch and easy to control in slides. and the big improvement is the extra torque compared to the mr2 makes it so much more fun to drive. but the only way for you to make you own mind up is go and drive one and get some passenger rides out as well.
  10. don't forget, exhaust noise will also be affected by what your running in the engine bay. mine also has the typhoon induction kit and soon to add carbon plenum and throttle body spacer. people have commented on a tone change with a plenum spacer, although only minor. and an induction kit adds induction noise as well.
  11. raspy is bad you want low deep and grumbly with pops and back fires. raspy is what i associate with mopeds,
  12. will do at some point. when first fitted it didn't sound much different from stock, especially without any load on the engine. but over 3.5k it does sound nice. its quite reserved. hence why i've decided to add the HFC's the idea being to get the little extra noise i wanted without it being unlivable with. currently its great, no drone and very useable on long drives. but i miss the popples and back fires my old exhaust on my old car had. so i hope the HFC's will bring that aspect, without making the exhaust unbearable on long drives. Mark has an Amuse i thought he had an RSW before the AMuse? sold it to someone on here? i may have all my facts muddled so ignore me
  13. had mine a year. was serviced when bought, never topped it up(didn't need it) was serviced recently, still doesn't need topping up
  14. i thought fiddy had an RSW? i've got an invidia true Dual, and as of tomorrow should have some kinetix HFC's mated up to it. will feed back later tomorrow when i've been for a drive.
  15. mines in the big cubby behind the passenger. no rattling, but i have other stuff in there as well.
  16. my car hasn't been out of the garage in over a week. but the new tyres have greatly reduced the slip when i was last out in it.
  17. have to wait and see what you get, let us know once its on.
  18. it should be in the middle between max and min.
  19. i was planning on using the wheel genie, mad marky used them for his, and their up your way in the county. not the cheapest around and not the most expensive, but they do a good job.
  20. lol works in reverse, gets shorter the more excited you get. its the anti- erection
  21. not seen one with variable settings before, got a link to what your using. i previously had a B&M short shifter kit fitted to my MR2 and it was one setting only. shorter as it reduced the height of the gear lever. does this mean your gear lever is telescopic or something?
  22. either 5w30 or 10w40 are suitable for the car, i use royal purple 5w30 in mine and have been very happy with it, alot of other forum members use silkolene pro S either 10w40 or the new 5w30 but the latter only comes as 5 litres the 10w40 you can get in 1 litre bottles. ( or so it was last time i checked)
  23. goes in tomorrow for fitting so will have to add anti foulers at a later date. but i can do that myself. if it throws a CEL at least ill know what it is. should have a spoiler and HFC's on by tommorow end of play.
