  1. don't worry my views are nothing like that, and i don't think people under the age of 30 driving them lowers the value of the Zed. Welcome to the mad house, look forward to meeting at a meet sometime.
  2. very different, noot seen those arches before, some thing tells me the car needs a FOBW to finish the look off at the back
  3. wow this thread has come back from the grave. and just to add its not jealousy and i don't mind young people owning them. i'm only 27 so i'm no old man, and at least half the drivers on here are under 30. if you have the money to do it then fair play and welcome to the club. for me i suppose i have a weird sense of things. i like the idea of working up through the cars and building your driving experience. you don't join the army and go straight in as field marshall, you work your way up. if you jump to the top doesnt mean you cant do the job but you'd be lacking the experience to do the most at that posistion. and before you say it yes the zed is by no means anywhere near the top of the car ranks, but its no squaddie either.
  4. am home and taking it steady.
  5. thanks bennett the pains had subsided as had the swelling and guarding on that side. and the pain was very localised to where the appendics is. it may well have been inflamed but not appendicitis. they mentioned it could be a grumbly apendics. bit like their grumbly owner.
  6. ultra sound didn't show anything up. their guess was apendicitis or gastro entoritis (not sure of spellings) they took so long to do the scan there wasn't much left to find. I'd rather it flair up again now and get it sorted than leave it and it happens over christmas.
  7. just had some spag bol, only a small portion whats worrying me slightly is that some of the twinges are coming back i'm hoping they'll just pass
  8. they've let me out to be an outpatient. i feel like crap, but at least i'm home. be back to work on thursday.
  9. Used to use hp and epson but have recently swapped to the new kodak printer and have been really impressed with it. Ink is dirt cheap for the manufacturers stuff and actually prints alot before needing changing and the speed is very good. As teachers me and my wife print alot so keeping costs down is important, but we still want to keep good quality for personal use. We've printed wedding photos on it and he quality has been excellent. We have the 4 in 1 unit with scanner copier printer. We don't have the one with the fax. Can't check numbers as still o hospital but definatly worth a look.
  10. They just free spin on the spot, should be no way to damage the stem.
  11. I've not bothered on this car with dust caps as I'd suffered thefts on the last 3, but I recently bought some richbrook anti theft ones. Didn't like the ones thatalan key into the stem, but found the ones with a free spinning collar the cap requires a special key to remove them. Should be enough to deter the opportunist.
  12. If youpost up your location there might be anowner local to you who could give you a pax ride out and a closer look.
  13. I hate going shopping, don't envy you. Take care out there ihear it's dangerous out there
  14. Still waiting on the results. So no breakfast either today. I'm so hungry now not had a drip in 24 hours just water, my stomach is so empty now it actual hurts and I feel rubbish. I'm grumpy and frustrated now. And I just want to go home to see my wife.
  15. Agreed stew, would never bad mouth the staff as they have been doing a sterling job, doctors (the majority) have been great and really good. The nurses have gone out of their way to help. The care assistants are really friendly and even the food doesn't smell to bad. I just wish it ran smoothly and in order. I am aware that generally their tends to be more admonistrators than medical staff. Shame I'm sure if they were allowed to get on with it they would do a grand job.
  16. Will need to be a weekend unless you can wait till feb and the half term. Also be good to see if the combination of carbon plenum, throttle spacer true dual, and a typhoon make.
  17. No stones found anywhere, no visible swelling, they took so bloody long it's made it harder to trace. I'm appauled at how bad this has been dealt with, the nurses are great the doctors are qualified, but the system seems terrible at joining things up. Everyhing seems to be done arse about face, no one talks to anyone, you have to pester to track things down. And I'm not the only one. Been chatting with others and the nurses and it's common practice. Long waits for scans, delays etc and things done to bad timings I reckon I could have been out yesterday but I'm costing the health service 2 extra days. I think I'm just ranting cos I'm hungry
  18. Cookie it will be interesting to see how they both do, we'll need to get chatting to organise a date with abbey.
  19. Report hasn't been filed my dinner has been revoked, back on the drip, I think they still want to see what food does I doubt I'll be out till Sunday maybe even Monday.
  20. I'm actually in hospital at the moment trying to get help to get over it.
  21. Dinner cart was 2 hours ago, I'll be lucky to get some toast.
  22. Very true jerry that's why I mentioned it lol.
  23. Got scanned at 5. Nothing shown up, waiting for the all clear to eat, the test being to see if food makes it flair up. If no problems I should be allowed home tomorrow sometime. As for the car it's all tucked up in the garage at home and my wife has my wallet, as I asked her to look after it while I was in hospital.
  24. Oh happy times
