i was born in 81, so it is not something i really remember, although i was right in the TVR direction, just didn't know which. were they any good?

i leave mine on most of the time, but if its a sunny day and i've gone for a proper drive i turn it off. general commuting it stays on. also turn it off when i've been on track. have some proper fun then. only tine i find TCS a hinderance is pulling out of a junction when you need a lot of oomph to make a gap. if you put to much down the TCS kills all the power and you limp out. which isn't so good my advice, go do a CAT driver training day, learn what the car can and cant do and more ot the point what you can and can;t do in the car.

its looking good, i'm yet to see one of these part carbon and glass fibre mix weaves up close. i'm aware they look different in pictures as they do in real life. and that pictures don't do them justice.

The Likwid art badges would work well on them as they will sit very flush with the strut cover, they look very good. well done on finding something someone else hasn't done.

i was informed recently that EBC discs like the ultimax and turbo groove are just re machined OEM discs. they take a standard disc and machine the face to put the dimples and grooves in. then they are re coated to seal them. don't know if this is the same with all manufacturers. personally if i was going down the EBC route, i'd go for the ultimax and the ferodo DS2500 pads.

one word ... rainbow speakers ... well ok that was 2, but they are bloody good. at least for the crossovers in the door thewy are defo worth it. can get one of there models for about £150 for fronts and tweeters

And how do you know? It isn't really the type of car you buy with your head though is it? I'm sure many a super car owner has bought a really flawed car that makes their back ache etc due to to lust and draw jopping good looks! Thats not really got anything to do with what you've quoted though. I was asking RT how he KNOWS the Mac is a better car...... Ok so i haven't driven either of them, but i did ready a very lengthy article last year on them, they were in EVO i think and it reviewed them side by side. speaking on an engineering basis comparing the 2 cars on paper i would have to say the maclaren has the edge. and wit what i think is a better setup. they run very different chassis, engine setups and gearing setups. i also think the maclaren interior is nicer, and i don't like ferrari's if i was spending that much cash i's still get a lambo, but between the 2 mentioned the maclaren is the better car. i still wait to see a proper road test on them both but i think the maclaren will come out on top. but thats just my honest opinion.

i don't think it will be a for-evergreen solution, more like a stop gap until fuel cells are more viable.

nice company, we flew with them for our honeymoon, they don't do kosha meals though

lots of good alternatives out there if the nismo is out of the price range exhaust wise. or even if you fancy something different.

adam at Z1 auto in the states is a good source of parts for something like this.
