  1. It's not that bad, no-one has mentioned blu-tack yet! or the religious approach, spit on the back of the plate, attatch to bumper and if god or allah want you have a front plate then it will stick
  2. DEAR LORD, am so glad i never taught most of you technology
  3. I didn't know CS was a Citreon specialist citreon 350Z
  4. fitting at the rear might be possible, but i don't know how much space is behind there? you'll need about 9" behind for the size of the bracket. have a look in the original thread all dimensions are in there. as for wireing off one remote yes it should be possible, you'll need to cut off the control box and extend the wires from the rear unit, to then splice them into the control box of the front one. then when you press the button, theortically it should send the signal front and rear. key word here is therotically never done it or tried it so can't say either way. might be worth testing before fitting, then if it doesn't work you can sell the spare unit on and you won't have cut holes in your bumper for no reason
  5. theortically yes you could turn it upside down but you'll need to design and make a new bracket to move the mounting points outside the area of the numberplate. you'll basically want to create some kind of frame so that the holder and plate sit in a kind of letter box. actually ignore that yes its possible but you'll need to do some fiddlling bracket wise to make it work. the fixing going back into the grille willl be fine but the ones on the top going to the crash bar will need re shaping to avoid the plate.
  6. Won't be able to get pics for a while, my car is being collected tomorrow to go to abbey My alpine headunit had - Bose loom > Pac > speaker harness > alpine loom & it worked fine for 3 years. Everything works on my new unit except the sound, but with a multimeter on the ignition feed from the bose to the pac it reads as 0 but between the other side of the pac I get a reading fine from there sounds like a broken connection, have you re checked all your old splices, i wonder when removing the old setup if you broke a connection somewhere??
  7. ian has to use pac rom as he doesn't have steering control hence the splicing it in. and no RCA connection unless the ICT loom for steering control cars would work without the steering control wired up?

  15. sandwich some garden wire between the plate and a back of some kind, glue together so it looks like the normal number plate but you'll then have 2 wires on top and 2 on the bottom that you could feed into the grill and bend into shape to hold it in place. you'll probably have to get under the front and drop the splash guard to get your hand in to tighten it all up
