hi What are the main things I should be looking out for on a Z before I purchase, I know about discs/pads, servicing checks but are there any specifics to look out for ? Good examples being the RMS issue on a Boxster and Vanos issue on an M3 ? to be honest nothing major, as long as they have been looked after and serviced regularly then they tend to be fairly bullet proof. little niggles tend to be rear CV link and drop links but fairly easy and cheap to sort. others have the odd clutch issue and need a new clutch, but its not really cropped up in any huge frequency What are servicing prices like at specialists, Im interested in major service prices ? as an example i go to Team AFM they tune BTCC touring cars amoungst other things, and they do most of the work on my car. the major service is the P3, i bought most of the consumables for about £100 just over and they charged me £220 for the service i think in total it was about £330 JDM or UK spec what are the main differences and are there any issues with insurance, dealer prices etc... - I've had an MR2 import before so not that fussed about having one. have a look in the buyers guide there are several stickies in there with all the info you need Whats the chances of getting one for about 8.5 ~ 9k, is this a realistic figure or not ? good, but might need to search abit for one of really good quality What are prices for discs/pads bearing in mind they're Brembos ? depends hugely on what pads/discs you put on. have a look on z-store.co.uk to give you an idea of whats available and price. there are also lots of other traders that sell brake stuff all at competitive prices. have a browse of the traders section Hope that helps

won't be with out handles, i have a spare set, i prep and get them ready, post to you, you fit and send me back yours. i refurb them and then send to the next person etc. just trying to get my GCSE stuff out the way then i can give it more attention. hopefully after the end of next week.

i think it works well mine are done in satin black and then wrapped in Carbon vinyl will be sorting these out for others soon

i'm with dcash on this i thought i knew that i was going to vote tory, as it was the only party likely to shift brown out. don't agree with all there points but they made some sense. but now i'm not sure. Lib dem seem possible as well all it seems to have done is dilute the options we'll end op with brown back as no one had enough vote to take a majority. what might interest you is this website http://www.votematch.org.uk/ it asks you a range of questions about your views and then gives you a percentage read out of which party best suits you. i did it and the first time i did it i just selected the main parties for the read out, got tories then libdems and then labour. tory by a large percentage. i did it again but picked all parties, what scaried me was that the BNP came out top then UKIP and the the same order with the others. now i'd never vote BNP in a million years but i obviously seem to agree with alot of their policy without even realising it shame UKIP don't stand achance otherwise they might have go tmy vote still going to stick with the either tory or libdems, just not sure which pros and cons with both

Actually you are spot on. My in laws at their previous house had problems with kids grafiti'ing his back gate (double gates to allow access for the camper van he owned), stones, litter etc finding their way onto the camper and back garden. He tried contacting the law who said they did not have the resource, and more or less said "tough, nothing we can do". So he took photos next time they were vandalising his property. Within a day the police were round, and not because he now had evidence of crimes being committed against his property. One had shouted pedo, told his parents and they had in turn reported him to the police for taking photos of kids. The police then turned up to quiz him about taking the photos of kids! He was then taunted for a period of time by the same kids. In the end they moved home. So I have no time what so ever for these type of society scum and their no doubt waste of space parents. The law doesnt stand up for the right people and cant help them. Yet the scum get the support. So, if I were in the situation you were, I would quite happily pay someone to ensure a lesson is learnt. The softly softly approach is what has got is into the situation we are now, where no discipline exists any more, and it's time it were brought back. i agree the softly softly approach has caused lots of issues, and i'm not a softly softly person, but you have to gauge the person your dealing with and the best approach to handling them. i'm not affraid to say it but there are some kids that are lost causes. and in some cases kids are institutionalised from an early age and stay that way till they die. personally if you jump up and down and rant ans rave they'll just laugh at you. i did and still do work with the odd juvernile scumbag. (alot less these days as i'm in a nice school) the trick is to build a relationship. sadly these days you have to earn your respect before you can really get things going. its a 2 way thing. you earn theres they earn yours. you may not like it that respect isn't automatic but thats the way it is. kids are far mor e independent then they used to be. i'd personally like to thank the EU for that and now the current labour govenment for systematically undermining teachers and there abilities. and giving the kids more power than the teachers. the trick is to make them think its the other way round coupled with that you have a chav nation of pram faces and dole seekers breeding like rabbits, all funded by the governemt. this problem is only going to get worse.

don't take him for a spin but try and get him interested rev engines etc, explain the parts, teach him etc if your cleaning it and he's around, get him to help show him how to do it properly,
