had it on mine, did the resets, never come back. have you fitted anything in the engine bay recently? sometimes that triggers it.

general rule is 3 years or when the tyre is down to 1.3 mm tread can run for longer, but its personal choice after that.

thats exactly my sentiments, if i couldn't get sessantas then i'd get the falkens. difference is about £50 between the 2 full sets i think. so not massive. others like the toyo's top budget preference is mps2's

If that was supposed to say camskill, lol, I've used them before very good value, I was thinking Falken 452's though. rt will now go into overdrive re the vredesteins ....... falkens are a good brand too not as expensive as the vreds but will do an eefective job at keeping you on the road. my personal prefererence of course is the vreds they are a better tyre all together

The missing piece of the consistency puzzle, is which team members are about at the time to discuss things. When the Rik things happened, we had enough of the team in the team area to discuss it on the fly, ditto with Carbon Forza. With some of the Envy issues, we had heads up of it, so discussed it (or their consequences should anything happen) before anything was put in the public domain. We had no heads up on the issues with Mitz and John and as the team werent about, we had no other option than to lock the thread until we had a good number of the team comment on the problems. This is not helped by the fact that we cant assertain a single version of events as to what has happened, which means we are dragging it out longer while we work it out. I hope you can understand there is consistency in what we do, everything is a team decision. If there is anything border line, it will be locked or moved to a holding area until the team as a whole can agree what to do with it. We chose not to move said thread this time as its information to keep in the public domain, but we dont want it being convoluted by every Tom, Dick and Harry sticking their opinions in where what we need are facts. understand where your coming from like i said at the end of my last post, am happy to wait for a team decision and for the post to be unlocked

for me it was the lack of consistency, The Envy thread, the Rik thread the carbon forza thread. all of them were not locked and all of them have had an effect on the trader. carbon forza is no longer tradinng on here. i don't think people use Rik as much as they would have done. and the same with envy. rightly or wrongly Beavis was just doing his job. and understand his reasons for locking the thread, i just don't agree with them. doesn't mean i take it personally or hold a grudge and i'm happy to wait for this to be discussed by the mod and admin team and i shall wait for the thread to re open.

you shouldnt have locked the thread beavis, does that help and yes i have the balls to say it and post it up. doesn't mean i dont appreciate the work you do or the time you give up. if john was being a nuisance via pm you should have just ignored him, or switched off the laptop/computer. i have this with work, knowiing the point at which to put the work down. it isn't going to blow up without you there and will still be here when you come back, and if he's being an arse then let one of the others deal with him. just my 2p's worth

i'm sorry but i have an unanswered question, if CS still thought they were dealing with the Warranty work for the last 2 months; why haven't they done anything to progress it. if they thought they were still doing the claim they would/should have made some progress on the work. as has been said before this is not a personal issue with Mitz; i like mitz and have a laugh with him and he is a very friendly guy, but on this occasion i think that CS has made a monumental error. i'll wait for the original thread to be unlocked and for the first garage to have their say. and i think people need to keep this about the work in question and make sure that it doesn't become a personal attack. keep in mind no one is perfect and i bet all of us at somepoint in life have c0cked up

Just fitted the JVC EXAD 7'' KW-AVX810 double din headunit it has a USB cable fitted and the plan is to run a portable harddrive. its cheaper and has more storage than an ipod etc. problem is i know very little about them. i don't want to buy something that won't work or do the job. so some help and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. reading so far seems to be 2 types solid state and ones with moving disks; have no idea which is better/faster etc. guessing the solid state ones are like giat usb pen drives. looking for around 100gb of storage, dont need any more than 250 gb. needs to be a fast transfer rate, but a low power consumption. from what i've learnt so far some older style usb connectors don't supply enough power to run harddrives at their best and lead to slow transfer. not sure what my headunit is running so don't want to over push it if possible. from the ones i've looked at so far they talk of pre loaded software that means they are compatible with xp/vista etc straight from the get go. will this make any difference with me plugging it into aheadunit or will i need to do some kind of formatting on it? doesn't need to be major brand as i don't want to spend a fortune. what are other running? cheers in advance reading so far seems to have a variety of rpm speeds for the hard drive.
