  1. husky someones trying to get in contact with you, you need to contact them on this thread ASAP
  2. i might just cut the 9 sets next week, if people can make sure the spellings are correct fo rtheir usernames on the list and all capitals and non capitals are where they should be. i use exactly what is used for your username, but last time someone wanted it different but didn't tell me that; so this time let me know.
  3. bigger rear; smaller front is a regular setup on the MR2's as for what rims; not sure
  4. imho i don't think the nismo is that special, it looks like stock and sounds only slightly better than stock. if thats the look your going for then fair do's but the remus would possibly be a good route. although if your getting a nismo for peanuts you cant really complain.
  5. nice idea except for the 2 way part. i like the idea of being able to see and hear whats going on, but having the customer talk back would just grate after a very short time.
  6. not seen a remus on a zed, i know they were popular with the MR2 crowd, nismo is expensive for what it is. whats your budget? you can get good sound from the car for not too much money; in comparison to the nismo.
  7. 306 GTi6 was an awesome little car, great handling, very light, used to pi$$ of most hot hatches.
  8. JDM's have quieter exhausts as standard they also have a different air intake tube with an extra widget to make it quieter as well. JDM's are difficult to diagnose and repair as a lot of garages don't have the appropriate OBDII software. Most OBDII software doesnt work with them. most JDM's don't have leather. JDM's are speed limited to 115 mph wow i wish i bought a jdm
  9. its a jap engine that the french use
  10. not seen that hood before, think you'll be unlikely to source it here. my best bet would be the chilli red store for the hood, sarah might be able to get it in for you. as for the glass R35LEE is your best bet
  11. what budget are you trying to get one for. if your looking round the 7 k mark then you'll only get dogs to look at.
  12. are you sitting comfortably... i think the last i heard it was at least 300 quid. you'll need new keys, and probably new locks as you have no master key to copy, the keys will need to be coded and set. plus labour charges, plus the cost of getting it to the garage to do the work, probably a tow truck, or pay a lock smith to come out and unlock it, but you'll have no method of switching the alarm off, unless the lock smith lets you in and you disconnect the battery.
  13. exchange rate is so bad at the moment i doubt it works out cheaper; probably just as cost effective to buy a UK spec car.
  14. Thats exactly why these things happen. Because the attitude nowadays is its always somebody else's fault!!! Nothing to do with EU but our own stupid laws!. As far as i know Greece is in the EU but that wouldn't have happened there as the guy wouldnt be able to attend the first court hearing from all the beating up from the fellow coppers!!! From Chesterfield : A bunch of £20 notes to the right person in a shady pub to one night put a hammer across the chaps knees would be a start. +100000000000000 our human rights laws all stem from european legislation, we're just the only country stupid enough to follow them to the letter. same with most other EU legislation. most other countries just nod and then do there own thing. we actually spend huge amounts of money employing people to implement them. like our lovely health and safety brigade, who now make most jobs an actual pain in the arse to do anything, or the fact our headstones in grave yards now have to be laid down. and a million and one other stupid rules that bubble wrap our citizens.
  15. ouch, next time your down we'll go visit my bodyshop and mix you up some touch up paint, and should hopefully be able to hide it alot better for you.
  16. i'm interested to know what facts you base this on as they run the same engine?
  17. when we leave the EU and stop following namby pamby rules for human rights. why was a thief able to sue B&Q for damages after he injuried himself climbing over a barbed wire fence; all because it didn't have a warning sign telling them of the barb wire? why are we likely to face criminal proceedings if we defend our own home and injure the intruder? why is it that PC's end up having to spend more time doing paper work than they do being on patrol in order to have to put together long winded evidence in order to combat these loop holes? why is it that just because your under 18 and commit the same crime as someone over 18 that you can get away with a caution? the police do sterling work in a difficult situation. i've heard of several cases thrown out on technicalities and people who should be punished are set free. its not fair but sadly its life.

    i used to make them
  19. Since when have prostitutes been nice girls...? They always look rough in my eyes!! Especially when you cross the German border into Czech Republic since when you work the high class market and things are in the 1000's per hour, not 10 quid Yeah there are a couple of Magazines available, so would be a good idea to get a couple and see whats around Am just updating my CV at the moment, and is my plan to do just that once ready - so great minds think alike on that one! Have already had a quick scout around some of the Job websites - are there some better than others though, as there seems to be loads! Jak i've always used engineering or design specific job search sights. carpet bombing is the best technique. just upload your CV to all of them also if you wanted to run your own business there is a website for small companies for sale. you could buy your own and run it. some are franchises others are complete businesses. my guess is if your interested in the automotive industry and you want marketing, then maybe check out the websites of the main companies. most will probably have a vacancies section listing current jobs on offer as well.
  20. what about being a pimp? the hours are good, you meet lots of people, its very profitable and you'll always have a nice girl on your arm. ... failing that; are there any magazines based around marketing, as a designer/engineer, there were several publications you could get that A. gave out info on the latest developments and B. had career and job sections in the back. could try dropping your CV's in to the HR departments of any UK based automotive company, they all have marketing departments. also have a look on some of the job hunting websites, you can choose your specific area of interest and it might give you an idea of whats out there at the moment.
  21. i wouldn't want to run any spacer without putting in new longer studs in place.
  22. actually the minimum spacer you can run is 0mm what i think the OP was trying to ask was, whats the largest spacer i can run without needing new longer studs. and if thats the case then i would say no more than 5mm more likely a 3mm to be safe. personally if your wanting to space the wheels then do it properly with the eibachs
  23. i actually drink scrumpy as beer is too pussy and doesn't have enough alchol in it.
  24. cragus i'll join your beer team
