  1. my ex colleague was out their a while back and was nearly shot
  2. for the mass buying public, the diesel engine is the current eco route high miles for low cost and low tax brackets, hybrid is great but out of the price range of most hence why its so limited at the mo. the more its used the cheaper it will get. advantages of electric, very few mechanical parts; power is direct so acceleration is very rapid. only 1 gear. a mix of electric and hydrogen wold give the best performance for us people. as well as some of these concept gas turbines like jag used in their concept.
  3. we'r ein that uncomfortable crossover phase between fossil fules being made obselete and alternative fuel taking over. electric cars are only temporary, you can;t get the mileage off them and they take to long to charge. the future will be hydrogen fuel cells.
  4. my next car needs more seats and a decent boot, i've been looking at the golfs, might be worth a look, not sure what would be in your price range golf wise?
  5. http://www.dynomec.co.uk/ that should do it
  6. the only long term issue is from the broken flange, where are the hot gasses going, if its pointed at part of the underside that either has wires or anything patic near it; there is a risk over a long drive that you could melt something. the likelyhood is that the exit for the gases is pointing towards the floor, and if so then there won't be an issue.
  7. moderators; why the long face? is all this crazy posting getting to you yet?
  8. this topic is bucking around like a crazy bronco, and the speed of off topic posting has gone from a canter to a gallop.
  9. dave your not helping to spur this issue on really are you, it will end up a 1 horse race and the mods will be the winners, no photo finish here,

  11. might have a small effect but its so far back the gasses are almost out anyway and your only loosing some silencing thats all.
  12. thats why i might block your gamertag for future gaming
  13. i use 1200 grit to get a good clean surface finish, then key up the surface a little with 300 grit if it needs it.
  14. they forgot to prime their donkey flange and dolphin valves to a perpendicular angle
  15. its the simplicity of the games console that make sit work well. i shall be back on again tonight, got to try and get up as many levels as possible before husky gets his copy and then spends all hours on it; and take all the fun out of it by beating me all the time
  16. its not fair you guys having all this horse play; and not letting us get in volved, we all want to take the bit by the mouth; and ride this pony to some kind of conclusion. some of those comments did make me laugh though, i laughed so much my throat was horse. right i best saddle up and get going before i'm shot and turned into dog food.

  20. completed the campaign and enjoyed it, as for the multiplayer, only given it a short run (5 games on free 4 all) but i'm liking it, good maps and the oponents seem matched as well.
