  1. a good Geo setup would help reset it to feel more stock with the new bigger wheels

  3. depends on what you class as a harsh ride. it will be a little harder than say on 18's but shouldn't be bad, probably most noticable on really bad roads.

  5. the DTE plays very safe, most i ever filled up with was 77 litres, but after getting over 70 miles after the DTE went to 0 the arse clenching got too much and i had to fill up.
  6. who are you insured with? depends on who they send it to be repaired, some body shops have their own courtesy cars, my local has a fleet of 500's the shop that did my old MR2 had a fleet of Fiestas (god i hated that car) some don't and require the insurer to supply a courtesy car. i know its nice to have a like for like car but don't forget that in doing so it costs alot of money, thhis also pushes up the cost and when added into the costs could possibly push the car into a write off. these kind of costs also push up everyones premiums.

  13. you can get switchable Y pipe sections but to connect them up to cats and decats is going to recquire a lot of space. if i was to do it i would keep the normal cats in place and have the y section vent straight to the atmosphere right after the cats. to give you an example skipp to about 4 min to see it in action

  19. looks interesting, and a competant build, nice to see a quality carputer for the Zed is it possible to build an FM reciever into the unit? if it is its definetly something i'd be looking at for my next car. sadly not on your timeframe though
