  2. P1133 A/F Sensor Circuit Response Malfunction Oxygen sensor bank one sensor one slow response or at limit. This code is for the front 02 sensor on the side of engine that has the number one cylinder. May be caused by vaccuum leak or bad sensor. P1134 - O2 sensor heater circuit intermittent (bank 1, sensor 2) bank 1 = driver side exhaust sensor 2 = down stream sensor, after the catalytic converter. The Heated O2 sensor cold have a burt, or broken wire.
  3. any exhaust cnetre or garage can fit it. if its a good system you don't need an expert to fit it.
  4. been looking at the gliptone stuff, but any good reccomendations would be really appreciated as its going to be something new to learn and i really like the idea of renovating the seats myself and not paying someone else to do it.
  5. from memory i cable tied it to the crash bar
  6. Nope I am none the wiser. I see loads of people with fault readers (The same as the one I borrowed) but this code does not come up on nissan list of codes. Oh well they can have it back 2moro as it's down to them. Thanks anyhow Peter as i said above, start a new thread on it and people will help you out there; this thread is only for the location of a reader, not to solve your problem.
  7. i thought he was a pillow biter, not a pillow hitter
  8. You will be the first Paul!! I'm very very drunk right now and I know I shouldn't pos drunk. I thnk I have broken my hand punchin something . You will be the first big dawg i hope who ever they were you didn't hit anything vital
  9. pm sent, should solve the problem
  10. if i was set on spending that much on a car, then wheels would be where i'd put my wonga. husky might be able to do you a good deal on a set of Axis 5AD wheels. if you want decent wheels at a sensible price, also look at buddy club and enkei.
  11. i can do small things, but he was asking for full wraps, which really isn't my thing. i'd rather reccomend someone who will do a good job, than take on more than i can handle and do a bad job. good reputation for giving good help and advice as well as quality parts, and no bad reputation for doing a crap job. something some traders on here learnt the hard way.
  12. ehy do you think i picked up a supercharged V8 right now more car for your money than any sensible car, and my mileage is low enough that petrol isn t crippling
  13. for now its a job of just restoring her to original glory, going to spend my money time and learning on things like restoring the wheel arches and removing the start of rust in a few places. cleaning and restoring the leather. refurbing the wheels. pimping the engine (not bling but things like painted rocker covers, re painting the supercharger etc and making it stand out as well as making sure its all in perfect working order. i contemplated wrapping briefly, b ut after cleaning up the pant and seeing how nice it was i feel it would be a travesty to do such a thing. might lower it got plans for the exhaust, can;t find what i like, so am going to custom build my own.
  14. just to check, is the transponder in the new key, its the little black thing mounted in the plastic when you look in side you'll find a picture of it in here viewtopic.php?f=35&t=48408 just checking th eobvious stuff first, this one you wouldn't notice unless you knew to look for it
  15. some ones been told I mean, one minute a Manager for a Mortgage Company, next minute...........a 'know it all' Mechanic. I've let him experiment with a few things, but listening to you guys talk about this 'butterfly' makes me nervous, especially with Ricey's DIY skills!! I do love you though P (thats if he reads this, which no doubt he will after his fix of Wheeler Dealers) i'm an engineer by trade, and even my wife asks after i've done something " are you sure its ok?" she's just grown up with a family that rings for a man to come round and fix it, unlike me whos grown up fixing it yourself. and nothing i've done so far has fallen aprt or gone wrong
  16. i had to laugh this evening as when i was walking back to the car in the very empty saisbury car park, a young lady walked in to her open boot lid as she'd been staring so much at my clean car as for a teachers car ... i like to be different Oh my the poor girl I would have died!! You weren't wearing a mac was you?? nope i was wearing my non colour co ordinated pink polo and green karki shorts, but i wasn't at the car at the time so it wasn't my poor taste in fashion that did it. and i did manage to hold the laugh in as to not make it worse for her

  18. i think its past the point of more sanding, the area already has a nice shine to it, so higher grade W&D won't help. its time to get it checked first by a body shop before doing anything else.
  19. yeah its just a filler and glaze, its why i used it as i knew i wouldn't get all the swirls out. thought this would hide the rest.
  20. always good to get the basics out the way first do you still have the internasl from your old key, as you could just swap the internals in to the new case? or did you loose the old key, hence buying a new one to tune in to the car.
  21. not sure on prices, but i think the tannabe is somewhere between £600-£800 and the nismo is £1k and upwards i could be way off the mark here.. tarmac will give you a definitive answer. if you want to browse parts, have a look through these 2 places to get you started, then just tell tarmac what you want, and he'll try and source it for you in the US and get it to the UK. i don't know where he gets his stuff from, but these 2 places have a fairly comprehesive list of parts for the zed. http://www.vividracing.com http://www.lsdmotorsports.com/
  22. my current insurer would not insure my new car, but would start me a new policy and i would keep £507 of what i had already spent on insurance and charge me an extra £250 for the new policy. but if i cancelled i only got back £369 apparentl for a canellation fee and admin fee. i won't be using adrian flux ever again. i cancelled and went back to admiral, i don't know why i left them, they have been very good to me the last 4 years. as for prices they are coming down, but i think there is a limit to how far they will go.
