That reminds me of my Uncle Jack... he was 92yrs, in a home, had all his marbles . Anyhow a young lady, well I say young who did not have all her marbles, used to sneak in his room in the middle of the night and get in to bed with him Eventually they had to put a chain on his door to stop her

is it just with the window down? if so, try with the window at different heights to identify approx where the noise is coming from. then take the door panel off and have a gander, might be worth getting some sound deadening stuff to pad the inside of the door out if you can't see the immediate problem.
