  1. Temporary Car Insurance | 1 hour-30 days | Veygo By Admiral This is just what you need.
  2. This is nuts - in a good way! Incredible dedication!
  3. From our experience, Admiral are good eggs. We've had a multi-car policy with them for 10+ years, although the Z is insured elsewhere currently. When we did have to claim though Admiral some years ago (wife reversed into a parked vehicle, bless - very minor damage and a dark and rainy evening in her defence) they were very efficient and it was all handled and settled very efficiently. I do, however, appreciate that your case is a bit more, erm, complicated. I do hope that they resolve this to your satisfaction - good luck.
  4. I like those, a nice deep dish. Is D9R the brand? Sorry for dim question!
  5. This morning at the Four Counties Meet, Bletchingly Arms, near Redhill, Surrey. 1970 vs 2017
  6. First and third Saturdays of the month, from 09:30. Went along this morning and good to see another couple of Zs there, one being a lovely 1970 240Z. Billed as a "classic" meet, but there was a good mix of old and new. Well organised with tea/coffee/breakfast/loos available too. Let's try and get a few more Zs there next time!
  7. They look very good @Bunning More food for thought. Thanks.
  8. Currently going through thoughts of aftermarket wheels myself. I'm considering going down from 10.5 and 9.5 to 9.5 and 8.5. There seems to be more options that way and I can still use the standard 245 and 285 tyres as well. Could you post a photo of your car here with the Rota wheels on? I've been looking at that brand, amongst a few others. Thanks.
  9. Truely stunning wheels. I guess they are the the ones on your old Z that I saw at Ace this year? I spoke to Wheelbase Alloys yesterday, one of the very few suppliers who have an individual fitment guide - very helpful. I might give Tarmac Sportz a call as well.
  10. The ad is hardly descriptive, very little info made available. No idea on price, but traditionally not a good time of year to sell a ragtop.
  11. Thanks for the comment Dave - having never delved into the world of non OEM wheel fitments I'm a bit worried about getting it wrong! Loathe to trust some wheel suppliers who only give a V2 Nismo the option of 18" rims when they're 19" and other conflicting information! Then of course I've learnt that just because the offsets of the standard fronts and rears are "X" and "Y", they needn't necessarily need to be "X" and "Y" again when it comes to their OEM replacements. With reference to the Savini BM12 examples, that's the general style I'd change to, if I do. When you say "slightly more aggressive than stock" I assume you mean they'll sit further out into the arches?
  12. Something along the lines of these.... Savini BM12 Alloy Wheels | Matte Black BM12 Alloys - LK Performance

  14. I'm considering replacing my standard Rays wheels with something different next year - CSL style/deep dish - along those sort of lines. However, I need some data (offset/PCD) on my standards so I can end up with the new wheels sitting identically to the removed ones. Rim width and diameter to remain as standard so that current tyre sizes can be used. Any guidance and info appreciated. Thanks.
  15. A Tribe Called Quest - Award Tour (Official Video) - YouTube Probably my favourite Tribe track... De La Soul - Breakadawn (Official Music Video) - YouTube Probably my favourite De La Soul track
  16. Fortunately my Z isn't a daily and I deliberately keep it that way. I always find it exciting getting back into it a firing it up after a few days or a week of not using it.
  17. I recently rediscovered A Tribe Called Quest - some superb tracks..
  18. Old vs New (ish)... At my cousin's lock-up in Wiltshire were he keeps two of his oldies.
  19. A vehicle must be insured to be able to action that third party privilege.
