  1. Yep, black centre bit on the front bumper splits it up nicely. Wheels are a nice colour, great against the silver!
  2. I get what you're saying, I would never choose budget tyres over high performance because I thought they looked better But what I'm saying is the Michelin's, Goodyear and Conti's are so closely matched in performance especially for street use, I would use the look of them as a deciding factor of which one I want on my car
  3. I’m a professional detailer. I live and breathe aesthetics of cars every single day spending hours and hours to achieve the cars ultimate form in looks.
  4. @davey_83 such a good video, thanks for that. I was actually listening to a podcast and he was the guest. As for the results very interesting for sure, biggest surprise was how far down the Michelin was for wet handling despite its reputation. Just proves how far the Conti and Goodyears have come. For the driving I do I'm sure any of the big 3 would be more then enough performance. In terms of sidewall I actually love the Goodyear sidewall so I might go for them!
  5. VIS Racing do a OEM style Carbon Fibre bonnet, maybe @Adrian@TORQEN might be able to help you out? https://visracing.com/i-30498708-carbon-fiber-hood-oem-style-for-nissan-350z-2dr-07-08.html#!model%3D350Z||make%3DNISSAN||year%3D2007
  6. I disagree I'm a sidewall snob
  7. That makes me want to replace all 4 now so they match
  8. Thanks Adrian, you too. Hopefully be down to pick up some more parts asap
  9. That is what I’m running at the moment (well the 5’s). Back tyres have plenty of tread left and fronts need to be replaced. Would love to go MPS4S but seems silly to replace all 4 when only two need doing. Probably see if I can get some part worn Conti sport 6’s so they wear all the same time. Then will go MPS4S next time around.
  10. Hi guys thought I would give everyone an update, was going to wait until everything was completed but this quarantine has got me with so much free time so why not! As a lot of you know I run a detailing business and due to Covid-19 we are currently shut so what no better way then to make light of a bad situation and get my own car in for some excessive work with no tight time scale! So this is the current state of my studio Work started: Full wash & decontamination Two Stage Paint Correction Bodywork breakdown, deep clean Replace rusted bolts/broken clips Re paint & re fit rear spats Wiper Delete Work to do: Wheels off, deep clean Plastic arch liners off (front & rear), cleaned & dressed Rear fender guards off (1 getting replaced 1 being stripped down and painted) Change plates over to private reg I will post all photos once completed! In terms of my vision for this car I've had my heart set on the Vis Racing NSM kit for a while now, so thats whats happening! It will take a while to be completed due to available funds but I'm determined to make it happen. Main thing is being realistic and not rushing as the Business comes first and always will. Here is a list of parts I will be collecting over the coming months: NSM Front Bumper NSM Rear Bumper RT Nismo V1 Side Skirts Evo R 370z DLRs Facelift OEM Headlights Cabon Fibre skinned B Pillars & Wing Mirrors Carbon Fibre V1 Nismo style Rear Wing Really excited to make this all come together in the mean time I've got plenty to do!
  11. Yeah all the good tyres are very similar price, as they say 'just buy the Michelin's bro' they seem like they are worth the money. As much as replacing all 4 is painfully expensive!
  12. Wow have just read through all 56 pages of this. (Think it took me 3 hours or so!) This build is legendary so many ups and downs. Result is a very unique build, absolute beast. First of its kind, so much props to you and your vision plus all the people who were involved really does sum up what this forum is about. Last post was over 2 years ago, do you still own the car? Any updates since last if you do?
  13. Hello, was wondering for the guys who own LMGT4’s what tyres you are running. Being staggered set up it limits choice, that’s why I’m intrigued Thanks
  14. Once I detail and ceramic coat my car I do the same, usually use the open hose method to dry most the car and then use my air force blaster to dry the rest, definitely helps the protection last longer and eliminates the chance of marring the paintwork too. Absolutely love your Z by the way Sunset Orange, V1 Nismo Kit & LMGT4'S - Perfect combo
  15. This is going to be epic! Following Fly1 stuff seems to fit great, I love Carbon on Black, most other colours you can over do it in my opinion
  16. Yup I'm running standard suspension at the moment, arches are not rolled
  17. Silver! There is a photo on the Tarmac website of a silver car with black rear spats, doesn't look right imo. Mine are colour coded
  18. Quarantine Clean! great results as always, be interesting to see how you get on with speed coat.
  19. Oh okay that’s interesting, appreciate the reply, yea that would be good to be kept updated
  20. How are you getting on with the Depo's? I have heard mixed reviews, mistake me if I'm wrong but can see condensation build up in the photos?
  21. Could you let me know the info on all the new tyres you have please
  22. The wrap will not stick if you put the ceramic coating down before, surface needs to be as clean as possible (Alcohol, IPA wipe down) You can use the ceramic coating on top of the film to boost the hydrophobic properties
