Car looks great but IMHO that front wheel geometry looks a bit excessive.

Ford Cortina MK2 1500GT, Ford Cortina MK3 2000GT, Toyota MR2 MK1, Renault 5 Turbo, Ford Escort XR3i, Peugeot 205 1.9 GTi, Honda Civic Type R FN2, Focus RS Mk2, Vauxhall (Holden) VXR8, Vauxhall Corsa VXR (Stage 2) and then Nissan 370Z. I wanted a Z4 M3 coupe but too expensive considering age/mileage.

Just tried a quote for my 2017 370Z Age 61 Clean licence 9+ years Protected NCD Parked on driveway overnight Quote from LV - An incredible £975 which didn't seem to vary much by increasing the default excess. I think I'll stay with Hasting Direct.

Loom Connector with Tails for Nissan Trunk Opener
StormWhite replied to StormWhite's topic in Wanted
If you return to my original post I ask for a loom connector (for a trunk release switch) with tails and yet we have 20 questions. I have a switch can you supply the loom connector with tails? I am beginning to think you are just playing around with me? If you can’t help that’s not a problem either but just tell me you can’t help. -
Loom Connector with Tails for Nissan Trunk Opener

Yes, Loom switch connector with wire tails. If you can help please PM about cost and postage. To recap I already have a switch but until I tackle the installation I am unsure if I need a switch mounting plate (as shown in your picture) for a 370Z centre switch installation. -
Loom Connector with Tails for Nissan Trunk Opener
StormWhite replied to StormWhite's topic in Wanted
Yes, switch and tails. The switch I have has no mounting plate. If I don’t need the mounting plate in your picture for a 370 then I just need tails as I have already purchased the switch. Hope that makes sense. -
I need a loom connector with wire tails to connect to a Nissan Trunk Release Switch used on the GTR, 2018 370Z and others Part number 25380JF00A. the switch has a total of 4 contacts.

I messaged several days ago to negotiate a price including postage and best payment method for both of us, only to be told multiple people had already expressed an interest. Clearly this appears to be untrue IMHO. I will therefore publicly offer under the asking price - £700 including postage.

I also bought the Nismo mats for somewhat more than £110 because the current OEM 370 Nissan mats are a joke - Stuck on felt "370Z". If the "370Z" on the mats were still embroidered I would have happily used them.

Did Papa Smurf or Girnet say this???
-
At the end of the day depreciation was NOT a factor when I purchased a 370Z, so for me depreciation is irrelevant. I am personally surprised this topic has dragged on for four pages and still going.

AS my car has only done 4700 miles I really don't know but I guarantee if you are not a cash buyer its down to what you are intending to PX for. I expect my car to depreciate and after owning two Vauxhall's I am used to having my pants pulled down when its time for a newer car.

Last year I bought a 2017 Base model (ex demo 370 miles) for £24k. Was happy with that as their PX value on a Corsa VXR (2015 15k miles) was very generous.
-
Price Tanking??? I think not. The cheapest 2016 Base model with 14000 miles is £21.5k. on Ebay

The dealer states "This is the face lift V6 300 model known to push 306BHP @ 6800RPM from factory. Not to be mistaken with a standard 350z. The raised/bulging bonnet is a dead giveaway."

Personally I would rather have the original Nismo 370Z spoiler Rennan don't do it for me. In the last picture it looks to me like the base mounts are rivetted/bolted. Also the top mount/spoiler fitment doesn't seem quite right as the gap has variance over the profile of the wing. Too Ricer/tacky IMHO.
-
Do you have any interest in a 370Z version?
-
I bought one of THESE a while back, can anyone shed any light on when these were supplied with new Z's?
-
Perhaps I am wrong but I thought the reduced VED (£140) was a result of paying a large extra sum when purchasing the car new.

I I am not running decat either, sgtarg's picture perfectly illustrates how much too far the tips stick out on a non Nismo
-
None so far. Buddy.

My base model was registered on March 28th 2017 but I got it for £24k as as 370 mile demo car so swings and roundabouts. £540 sucks though.

Mine arrived at around 1pm today. Having watched a YouTube video for an AAM short tails install they took me around an hour to fit. The noise levels are fine and a tremendous improvement over standard, not too loud either, in fact the drone I anticipated at motorway speeds is inaudible due to tyre noise. Sometimes I can be too picky so fitment wise I would say they fit OK but not quite 100% perfect. On the downside they stick out much further than the standard exhaust on a non Nismo, no doubt because they are a universal fit for Nismo & non Nismo. Also my car only has two exhaust hangers for the back box (One on each side) so the third hanger (See Ebay pictures) is totally unused. I considered neatly cutting it off but decided to leave it on as it can't be seen under normal circumstances. Overall a big improvement over standard and compared to AAM resonated Short Tails significantly cheaper.

I have just bought them. Seems a great price but concerned about fitment & noise levels/drone. Will update when fitted.
