Got pics of them on the car?
-
Would Vinyl work as an alternative?
-
Yes both should going by the description. Adrian@Torqen is a helpful guy so best to shoot him a pm as he'll be able to give a definitive.

I was referring to your comment "I got a quote to dip two small parts of my dashboard which is about 1/20th the size of a bonnet and was quoted over £100. " i.e. the dash bits, not the whole bonnet! Wouldn't even attempt to do that in a bath.. Like I said in my post, I was told by a mate who'd done it as I haven't (yet) just thought was worth mentioning as may have saved you some money if you're still planning on doing it. TBH I'm not sure I like the idea of carbon wrapping on to standard bodywork any way... I'd personally just look for a 2nd hand carbon bonnet (seen several for sale lately) and get the weight saving gains from it.

You can buy the kit and do it in your bath tub for a lot less I've been told by a mate who did his engine compartment bits. The activator liquid cost him £30 plus the pattern and he did it himself - Only seen pics but looks like a good job and is prob what I'll do with mine now (after trying and failing to wrap it to a high enough standard).

Cheers for that mate - I've been speaking to a lot of people and general consensus is that Ti may not be worth it for the prices I'm looking at. I got a quote for a custom SS and asked if it's (in his opinion) worth going Ti and he said "just take a @*!# before you go for a drive mate, you'll save as much weight that way" Also unimpressed with Whifbitz, getting a straight answer out of them was difficult and the answer I did get was wrong anyway lol.

Just to add probably another stupid question to this - The Y Pipe is cat-less... I'm assuming that's then an MOT failure if I go for that? First time exhaust buyer, excuse the rookie questions! Cheers

I sanded, primed and sprayed mine gloss black (don't need to clear it if it's gloss) while it was off the car and then fitted it. Painting part was easy and I got a nice finish on it (just need patience with sand paper!) the fitting wasn't hard but I wasn't happy with just using self tappers & double sided in to the arch liner so I've taken it off until I can tiger seal it and bolt it instead. This was when it was on; Also good vid on there to fit yourself. Hope this helps!

Hi all, After a recent MoT I've got several advisories - One of them was corroded exhaust which is all the excuse I need to replace it \o/ I've been doing a lot of research on this and I've decided to go down the titanium exhaust route. I've found the following: http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/ti-exhausts-350z-titanium-exhaust.html Y Pipe: http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/ti-exhausts-583.html I was wondering if anyone had any experience they could feed back with this exhaust/garage? I've got the torqen HFC's on order to go with this too (incase there's anything I need to consider compatibility wise with the linked zorst). Also - Obviously big chunk of cash for this so considering getting Y pipe at a later date. Any reason I shouldn't do this? I won't be getting it mapped for a while as few other bits I want to do too. Cheers

Well that shows the extent of my engine knowledge

Hi mate - This DE or HR? If HR I'm interested in the manifolds..

HI all, Hoping for any advice/pointers in fitting a Nismo N2 replica (seibon CF) spoiler on my '08 Z - From the pics etc I've seen I'll need to drill in to the boot lid but with little experience in drilling in to a perfectly good panel.. I want to make sure I don't of anything stupid!?
-
I had this - The metal part of the bumper was sitting proud like on yours (circled below) so I had to flatten this out, then also try to bend the arms that the bumper sits on back up slightly (as I stupidly left it hanging over night and it dropped as a result). Don't tighten the up fully until the weight of the bumper is nicely distributed also.. Mine's nice and flush now, took some gentle persuasion, second pair of hands and patience to get it back though!

Any update on these? Trying to budget.. so many mods to buy, not enough money! -
Also as it's cold a lot of people get sticking clutch pedal. The pedal needs to fully retract to engage the cruise control switch or it won't engage so if you hook your foot and pull the clutch pedal towards you and try again, may have more joy? (Mines doing the exact thing at the moment - I adjusted my clutch pedal though, need to undo it a bit now!)

This for DE or HR?

Sorry to quote old post! I'm planning on removing mine on the weekend - It's pretty straight forward from the looks of it. Did you just double sided tape the reg back on to the front bumper?

350Z ALUMINUM INTERIOR VENT TRIMS
Foo56 replied to Asad's topic in 350Z & 370Z Z Emblems Accessories Sales
Was impressed by this. Good fitment (after some bending to shape as described in instructions) was shipped quickly and looks good! Don't know why they didn't do something similar from factory, it ties in with the other metal finish nicely. Before and after picture.. -
I'm really not a fan of carbon fibre as I think it's over-used and tacky... But this looks really good, subtle and well made - hats off!

Can this just replace the SatNav unit and slot in it's place do you know? Or will I need to get the whole surround section for it? -
Welcome

I bought a HR few months back after deliberating the same question. I feel like I went the right way, I found a good clean example (then went sideways in to a barrier :| ) but the ride is smooth, the sound is ace, interior is OK - Though a can of halfords primer, matt black spray paint and sand paper sorts out the scratches very easily. I haven't been in a DE so certainly not best placed to advise, but I'm very happy with my recent HR purchase.
