  1. Have seen Argos are doing a Nilfisk Titan 120 for 99.99 which seems a really good buy. Might seem a silly question but having never owned one before, it looks like you have to have your own hose to plug between tap and unit?
  2. Interesting. You'd still buy a pressure washer either way though?
  3. Hi all, wanted some advice on buying some new products and a pressure washer. Was hoping for a little clarification on whether I'm doing the right thing. I've spent some time reading up so hopefully I'm not too far off the mark. I have a silver 350z and I love cleaning it. I've gotten a little more into this and used a clay mitt and polishes and wax but I'd like to be able to go a bit further. I'm wanting to buy a pressure washer too. I'm using a Bilt Hamber wax currently. I'd love to try a snow foam too. My thoughts for buying are: Nilfisk C130 Find a snow foam attachment Bilt Hamber snow foam PoorBoys White Diamond Could use advice on best polish to go with that as I currently have Meguiars. I'm guessing all you guys use a pressure washer on the car? Thank you for any advice to follow.
  4. Another one to join the rev up roadster ranks, top choice!
  5. Amazing looking scenery and extremely cool car. Welcome!
  6. I'm with Adrian Flux. My 350z was double the price to insure than my Legacy B4 RSK which is a Japanese import twin turbo. I think unless your car is pretty well modded or an import, they can't really compete, I guess a stock UK zed is just a 'normal' car and that's not their specialty. Saying that, all the regular insurance companies like Admiral etc all wanted over 400 for the zed which surprised me a lot. (not in a good way).
  7. Had a lovely 56 plate 350 behind me near the uni earlier this evening. If that was you, lovely car and my excitement seeing another 350 the same colour in my rear view was almost too much for me
  8. I love the look of 911s, but it has to be those early to mid eighties ones. When I think of a 911, I imagine a D reg Guards Red 911 Turbo. When I was choosing which car to buy this time around, I did spend some time looking at what can be bought in a 911 for sub 12k. Did give it some thought and figured you probably need to spend a fair bit more to have a proper 911 experience.
  9. Welcome. I've had mine a few weeks and can't stop driving it. Prepare to become a little addicted!
  10. Quite possibly actually, I just think about stuff like that and my initial reaction is that it feels like a monumental task!! TP worth a try on your wheels, just try a tiny spot first, amazing how it cleans up the letters.
  11. If you've got the skills then yeah. Tip of the day is toothpaste when they get dirty, amazing results!
  12. Just read all this thread and really enjoyed it, great car and loads of track fun! I've only ever done one experience day in an R35, I'm just a regular every day road driver so not good enough to be on tracks like these, it looks quite stressful making sure you're not in people's way and stuff. Stacks of fun though!! Would love to do it for the experience but I'd just be the slow one annoying everyone!!
  13. I'm with GEM but never had to use them. I kept seeing them top of ratings and they were a great price for the cover they offer. Good to see someone else above saying they've had no issues.
  14. I know the job in hand here was DIY but I think the tredwear are worth the money IMO. I have these on my B4 RSK: They need cleaning every now and again (toothpaste makes them look brand new again) but it's worth it. I think mine were like 85 bucks or something which I think like 20 quid a wheel to transform the look isn't so bad. They're raised too. Trying to do these DIY to look as good sounds like a lot of work.
  15. The owner says they are heated. I would love to find some of these!
  16. These are the beauties in question.
  17. Hey all, hoping to learn a little something here stemming from a discussion on the FB group. Saw a roadster with amazing orange/black seats and it transpires that they were a factory option. One chap said he thinks they are roadster only which I guess sends the rarity through the roof. I've looked them up and can find pictures on the web but not information about them specifically. Can anyone confirm if those ones are roadster only and maybe if anyone has ever seen any kicking about or if they're a known club rarity etc? Many thanks, Steve
  18. I'm sure the US guys are into doing VQ35DE swaps.
  19. It's good that people like different things. I liked my GT then like I like my 350 and B4 RSK now but appreciate they're not for everyone
  20. Thanks! It's good to be around people who appreciate the Primera and the SR20DE, great car, great engine!
  21. I'm a total convert to this. Finding a lower tax model was one of my 'must have' requirements but I came around to the idea that the car itself is far more important. It was members of this forum that showed me the path on this and I'm very grateful for that. Mine is higher tax and it means nothing in the grand scheme of things, I absolutely love the car.
  22. That was a nice GT yeah. I had a couple of those but this was my main one. Original guise: Then went for the turbo build: Ah the memories. For all the stick they get in Jap world for being taxis and what not, the GT and eGT are fantastic cars.
