It's really hard to judge tbh it's all personal preference. My Z is straight piped from the headers (Has a Cobra sport back box) and I don't mind it. Yet I know some of the folk on here would regurgitate their lunch at such an "abomination".

Just finished installing my exhaust system, didn't expect it to flame but as I did a fly by one of my mates he noticed it flamed, so I installed a camera took it to a rural quite part of the A1 and unleashed hell off the rev limiter and this is what the camera captured.

Sorry to dig up such an old thread but I'm really interested in these WOT boxes but I'm kinda worried about them damaging the motor. Have you still got this installed on your car and has it had any issues, I've heard they put increased pressure on the crank.

Most I saw were getting around 14.4 there was a grey one picture above with the Jap spray paint job under the bonnet dunno who's it is but I presume it's turbo'd or pro charged that hit low 13s if I'm correct.

Saw the stand didn't see anyone around to have a natter with, my Zed was in the general car park unfortunately ;(

I've had 140 out of my Zed and it still feels planted and stable, something must be wrong.

I commend your efforts Adrian but sometimes I feel like you don't even read the threads, I mean OP was talking about finding aftermarket ones that were significantly cheaper than the OEM £590 ones. You just linked some that cost almost 30% more than that....

hahhahaha funny you should mention that, first time I ever tried left foot braking I thankfully made sure I was in a large empty area...you'd never think you'd stop that quick when using your left foot..... Haha we've all tried it, your left foot is used to slamming the pedal flat to the ground

The Porsche owner is smart, the car park looks fairly empty and it's human isntinct to park next to someone. So if you don't want some douchebag whipping open their door and denting your car you park like that

Some insurers do give a discount , I've had £50 off from one and £30 from another so my camera is paid for many times over , in fact getting this footage got me £200 which I split with the Supra driver because I'm a nice guy I have a Blackvue front and rear facing one now and its excellent it has wi-fi so I can see/save/upload footage on my phone , I used to have a cheaper G1W in my daily and they are ok but you can certainly see the difference between it and a more expensive one G1w footage Hahaha I love how the supra just spins out in front of you and you carry on your drive like nothing happened didn't even check on the poor fella.

i know what you mean but there is an answer to that but if you are worried best not to have one as they can be confiscated by police if the accident is bad enough with whatever history you have on the memory card available. I'm getting old, I only tend to have a heavy foot up to the speed limit these days anyway so not too worried from that perspective but I may have to review my OH's history to be safe . I'm not entirely sure this is true, there is an old law which stops you from self incrimination. At least that's what I was told just snap the memory card if the knock was your fault

Haven't had this issue but in certain I've seen some braces for the exhaust you can buy which lift it up a bit protecting it from hitting the ground, might be worth investing in if you're going to have to get another y pipe.
