I'm 6'4" but it's all legs. I have the seat all the way back and the wheel as high as it goes and it's always pressed between my legs. It's like it in most cars so I get used used to it but it's killer on long journeys

I really like the factory wheel. I'm tall and do struggle a bit for leg room. I end up in a lot of discomfort if driving for more than an hour. Are there any smaller wheels that still retain the cruise control or perhaps a spacer that I can use with the standard wheel?

The timing on this sucks. I only got mine two weeks ago. Sounds fantastic but now I'm always driving around in a low gear so it's fair to say these are terrible for fuel economy lol. Bargain for someone here ðŸ‘ðŸ»

I've spoken with a few garages. General consensious is it could last years yet. once the gearbox comes out the car might as well have a new clutch so the costs will be similar if repaired now or after the gearbox fails so I'm just waiting until I need a new clutch or the problem becomes worse before I do anything. I might add a gearbox additive as a temporary measure.

There is nothing visually under the car and even with a lever couldn't find any obvious play anywhere but maybe I'll just swap out the arms incase

At low speeds over bumps my car rattles terribly. It sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side. Had my mot today and the car flew through. The tester heard the rattle while driving on the ramp. It was such that he expected to find something hanging off but after looking all over he couldn't find the source and the car flew through the mot. The downside is I'm still stuck with a noise and the source remains unknown. It's really annoying so I was wondering if anyone else has an odd unexplained knocking so I know where to look. Thanks

I’ve spent months looking at exhaust and listening to youtube clips. I want the tips to look good, the sound to be loud, the drone to be bearable and the rasp to be minimal. The Japspeed K1 is actually my favourite (ignoring anything that’s over a grand). I’ve been keeping my eye out for a used one but they aren’t cropping up. I’m thinking of going the custom route but there are so many choices and I don’t know why some systems are designed one way rather than the other. Perhaps you guys can explain. Back boxes. Central box Two individual boxes (I presume this is the loudest?) Two individual boxes with smaller boxes on top Mid Box Resonated /resonated. Is this where the main drone and rasp comes from? Y pipe Does changing this really do much to the sound? Thanks,

I tried flux and aplan but my car is standard so I found it cheapest on a comparison website. Does that claim mean you have no ncd? Insurance is a farce, it's cheaper for me to insure the zed than it was for me to insure a Leon turbo and that had less power and was worth hardly anything but I live in the sticks and have full ncd so I'm happy with my premium which is a lot less than it costs to tax the car.

Just finished fitting some ebc rear discs and ferodo pads. All came apart lovely and easily but the ferodo pads were a mare. Considering the price the fitment was awful. My 20 min job ended up taking me hours 😞 I won't be splashing out extra for these ever again!

I think mine is the input shaft bearing. And as far as I can tell the gearbox will either have to be sent off or replaced. I'm waiting it out for now

Morrisons is the wrong side for me. I'll go down the A46 and then across but if anyone one from Gloucester way is going we could have a Gloucester, Stroud, Nailsworth pick up points. Or if people meet at Yate Tesco I'd divert that way.

I know the japspeed systems are fairly frowned upon but I've spent a lot of time on youtube looking at different systems and the K1 sounds and looks good. Thinking if I get a used one the fitment issues will hopefully already be tweaked and it should be nicely priced ðŸ‘🻠One question though Japspeed only list it for the older models. I have a rev up. Yet the cobra system is listed all the way to 06. Do the rev ups have a different set up? Thanks

It's taken 6 months for me to do my first 'performance' mod. I actually got it for acoustic purposes but my car is now the proud owner of a JWT pop charger. Pricey for what it is but sounds mean at around 5k. Next is an exhaust 😎

I hate selling cars privately. You get so many idiots and time wasters. If you can get a reasonable enough px off that's the way I would go. Advertising on the forum is a good start. At least you will get serious people but the issue there is that most of us already have a zed. I've used Gumtree a lot because it's free and has a large audience but as soon as you put a phone number up you tend to get spam calls.

Looks lovely. I miss mine. I had 3 R33s although none were GTRs. I was tempted by another one but they are silly money now for what they are. Was going to get an R34 GTT but the zed offered a newer prettier car for a lot less dosh.

Very clean looking 56 plate. Followed him through Dursley this evening. Much exhaust envy.

I'm not particularly far from Combe but if a convoy is meeting somewhere along the A46 or even Yate I'd be interested.
