  1. No they didn’t. Only asked them because I had them try a regas as they are local. The new owner would need to sort the repair themselves so with luck they could have it done a lot cheaper
  2. It was on Pistonheads for 30 days but I can’t afford to keep paying the advertising charges if getting no interest. Car at is listed on Gumtree. Thanks
  3. Pre Christmas Bump, I really need this gone so I can get something more appropriate for my back issues. Apart from a few current owners messaging me to suggest its too cheap I've had no interest. I'm aware its not the best time of year but at this price someone will grab a bargain. The car runs lovely, pulls hard and i'm sure the first to see will agree and buy. To elaborate on the issues, i've had these looked at. The Aircon has a leak. Kwick Fit quoted me £236 to repair. The exhaust is blowing from one of the flexi joints on the Y pipe. I don't really view either of these as major issues. As mentioned I've missed quite a bit of work lately which has impacted my income quite considerably so these are faults that I cannot get fixed myself anytime soon which is why i'm only asking £5000 from a forum member.
  4. I’d love to Ekona but unfortunately I’ve missed a bit of work due to medical issues so I have no money to spend on the car. It’s also one of the reasons I’m needing to sell. I know the car isn’t perfect but at £5k I think it’s super cheap. She cost me £8k two years ago. I’m amazed that I’ve not had a single viewing yet and very little in the way of any interest. Now regretting that I didn’t take the WBAC offer a few months back
  5. Thanks. I think it’s a bargain (aka painfully cheap) but getting no interest. Only needs a little bit spending on it to make it tip top so someone will do well out of it.
  6. When I'm washing my old merc which already has rust and circling in the paint I merely snow foam it, use the brush on the pressure washer and then spray it all off. Works fine for that car. When washing a car I care about its: Snowfoam, pressure wash, Shampoo with mitt (one bucket for washing and clean bucket to rinse mitt), pressure wash, dry then polish. Or if i'm going all out i'll sometimes use a clay bar and a wax.
  7. Due to a change in circumstances I reluctantly have for sale my 2007 Nissan 350z Rev Up. GT spec. It is in the beautiful Azure colour and is the Facelift model.Owners manual, wallet and service booklet included. The car has flown through its past few mots without any advisories and the current Mot runs until 24.06.2019. The car has a full service history and the book has been filled in as listed below: 7640 15831 22802 28525 34654 50438 65472 74970 85461 93182 97416 Mechanically the car is standard apart from the recent addition of High Flow Sports Cats. These ensure the car remains MOT compliant whilst adding extra performance and a more sporty exhaust note. The car is 11 years old now and has covered 105k (used daily so mileage will increase) so does have some age related wear and tear and stone chips. The exhaust has a slight blow and the air con is not blowing cold but on the whole the car is in great condition for its age. Extras included with the sale: The car comes fitted with the factory head unit but I did have an aftermarket system fitted. The DAB Ariel, wiring adaptors and fascia surround will all be included with the sale – (worth £70) MDF boot divider (Tonneau) Cargo Net Original Chrome Badges Viewings and independent inspections welcomed. £5600
  8. Buddy Club Exhaust. I took ages choosing the right system and this was definitely it. Fit nicely, looks great and sounds awesome (note it’s loud!). Less than a year on the car. Comes with the optional silencing bungs. Will need a couple of replacement gaskets. £675 delivered or £600 collected

    Postage advice

All, I'm about to sell my Buddy Club Exhaust. Does anyone have a rough idea what it would cost to get something of this size and weight delivered. Thanks,
  10. All, I've taken off my aftermarket exhaust in order to refit the standard system. One of the gaskets was not salvageable for reuse (Cat to Y pipe). What size are these, is it 63mm and where is the best place to get a single one from. Thanks,

It’s offmy car now if you are still interested
  12. Not sure how much you are willing to spend but I have a buddy club cat back system. Lovely quality system. Very loud. Not very old and hasn’t covered many miles. £600
  13. Due to a lack of interest this will not be happening.
  14. Autotrader I find is more for the dealers but you will get good exposure. If i'm looking for a car privately I like Gumtree (just don't ever put your phone number on, just use email until someone has contacted you otherwise you will have spam overload). Gumtree also let you advertise one car at a time for free. Personally i'd avoid facebook, i'm sure 99% of the people buying on there expect everything to be free and if it is free they still want you to deliver it!
  15. Doesn't need to be the Wednesday (I suggested Wednesday just because thats the same day as before) i'd like to do next week if others are up for, I'm reverting the car back to standard afterwards before I sell so I need an excuse to go out in it while I still can.
  16. Thanks guys. I have sold lots of cars privately and most have sold to the first viewer but the amount of rubbish emails, offers and no shows does put me off. And although I'm hoping my car is worth 25% more I do tend to struggle getting serious interest in the countryside when there are multiple cars for sale in the Cities. Or at least that has been my past experience. I do have a cracked front reflector and a few stone chips so from the sounds of the above WBAC are more likely to give me £4k which really is too low. You will most likely see my car on here in the for sale section in the next few weeks.
  17. It might not come to it yet but a change in circumstances means the Zed might have to go soon Looking around online I would like to think my car is worth at least £6k; which is painful as it cost me £7900 less than 2 years ago. (2007 rev up. FSH. Long Mot etc...) Selling privately is a headache and I hate doing it. I would prefer to part ex the car but circumstances mean I will most likely be downgrading to something far cheaper. So I went and got a webuyanycar quote. £4500 was lower than I was expecting. A few questions from anyone who has had past dealing with them: - am I likely to be able to get an extra 25% if I sell privately - Will the car having HFCs put webuyanycar off (the other mods will be removed but the standard CATS are toast) - Is the valuation and payment process as painless as they claim it to be. - Is there a better Company to use Many thanks
  18. That is an awesome looking car. GLWS although i'm sure you wont have problems selling it.
  19. I reset the CEL with a decent code reader rather than with the peddle dance and so far it has stayed off. Looking at the US forums it seems quite a few people a reporting HFCs throwing codes on long drives so I guess my drive to Inverness at a steady speed the whole way was the cause.

I'll have one for a sale in a few weeks time if you aren't sorted by then
  21. Good morning all. Any plans for another Wednesday evening meet at the aviator? Its looking like my Zed might be going soon so i'd like to try to get to a few more meets to enjoy the car for a bit before I move onto to something more sensible. I'd like to propose Wednesday 26th September at 7pm. Anyone up for this? Thanks,
  22. Good evening all. My my car has started throwing the P0420 and P0430 codes. I’ve reset the cel but it comes straight back on. I have HFCs and these have covered a few thousand miles without any codes then while driving along a bumpy road up popped the code. Is is this common? I’ve not been under the car yet to see if anything has come loose but there is definitely a bit of a smell and a change in the exhaust note that wasn’t there before. The car also seems more hesitant but I’m not sure if that is my imagination. Also worth noting that I fitted exhaust bungs to the car before doing a 1300 mile road trip. The cel came on after about 550 miles. Might the bungs play a part in this? thanks
