So since buying my 350z I've been watching lots of YouTube and it seems to be jammed packed with five things every owner loves and hates. Many seem to miss the main issues imo. Because I'm having a lazy Sunday I thought I'd do one here: Love: 1. Rwd with 300 ponies 2. The looks 3. The sound 4. Heated seats 5. Don't see many others about Hate: 1. The road noise. Why isn't the cabin separate from the boot?! 2. The rear strut brace 3. the handbrake when a passenger is in the car 4. The £500 tax 5. The crappy scratched interior plastics

I had an audi on a dual carriage way wanting to race me last weekend but I paid no heed, other than that so far I haven't had any grief in the zed. My old skylines however were a different story. Every kid at the lights wanted a go and so many other turbo car owners I suppose wanting to know if they could beat a skyline.

Anyone on here offer carbon wrapping? My centre console is already done but the plastics on the door cards aren't, they are scratched and look awful so want them doing along with some other parts. Really looking for someone who does it on an exchange basis because the zed is my daily. Thanks

Very interested in one of these as soon as one of my unwanted cars sell. My car is Azure blue but my roof, door handles, badges and centre console are carbon wrapped. Torn between blue and carbon for the Z. Thoughts?

Hopefully the weather will be better for the next one and hopefully it won't be the day after a party. Looking forward to a drive out with some other zeds.

Welcome along. I read somewhere that the 350z was built for 200k with correct servicing? I got a 07 with the de revup. It's def worth going post 06 for the later style interior. I was looking at skylines but I was drawn to the 350z on its looks and the extra reliablitly that an NA engine brings. I've had it a month now and I'm very impressed with he car (apart from the road noise)

Same here. I'm waiting until the new year to get them done. Fine braking from 40/50 but at higher speeds the judder is horrific

I commute down a country lane and have had a few near misses with people going to fast (including cyclists) and if an accident happens without a cam it will be 50/50. So for a while I've been thinking of a dash cam. Now I've got a nicer car and following my car park misfortune I've decided it's time. I've been searching and there are lots of recommendations for dash cams that are rather expensive. Do I need it to work when parked? TBH probably not I was just unlucky last week. I would like something discrete, with enough wiring to get to my plug socket. I think night vision would be beneficial. Will need a memory card. Nice if it was less than £100. Are any of you running something like this? I've looked at some online reviews and most of the cheaper ones don't have a night mode and it's hard to tell how much wiring comes with them. Plus in pictures the size is hard to gauge. I'd like something I can tuck out of the way. Thanks.

I've had mine almost a month now. To start with despite the weather I was 'enjoying' the new experience and seeing 18. Then I had a dry weekend and that pushed me down to 12. Since then I had a decent mw spell and have started to drive it less like a brand new toy (and more my age) so I've got the average back up to 25. Luckily I don't care about the mpg. I work only 7 miles away and the mrs gets 60mpg out of her car so the fuel bills balance out. In terms of the display I show the outside temp. The clock is pointless because it's on the nav, the dte and mpg make me focus on economy and thus suck the joy out of the car so I don't look at them very often.

Welcome. It's nice to see Honda are being good to you. Most warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on. I'm praying I don't need to claim on mine but I've only got Engine and gearbox cover. Must be hard waiting for the car. Hopefully it will be back soon and you can start to enjoy Christmas. 😊

Is that easy to do?

I'm happy with the standard head unit but my CD player is on the fritz. I want to replace it like for like but from searching I'm of the understanding that the replacement needs to be uncoded from its car and then recoded to mine. Anyone know the cost of this or who can do it? I don't want to go aftermarket because I've just brought a Bluetooth adaptor. My car is a 2007 and I'm based in Gloucestershire. Thanks

I wasn't aware I thought they'd just have a code. What's pairing cost, maybe I'll be better just going aftermarket
