  1. My OBD dongle (ELM327) will only read engine codes, it's a bluetooth version & they're only about £10, I use it with the Torque Pro app, Piston & OBD Scanner. For all the other stuff I have Nissan Datascan.
  2. I'd remove the A/C belt & run it again. Easy enough to remove. If the noise goes then you know where to start the diagnosis.
  3. Kilen list a 'normal' pair to replace the factory ones. Front is part number 19167, the rear is 59025. They come packed in singles, Kilen are the only springs we stock in work.
  4. Where abouts in Yorkshire are you? I can highly recommend Tony Banks in Leeds. I've had 2 systems made by them & both were excellent. Not sure what they can do for the Z but their workmanship is top notch.

    Spacers supplier.

Just wondering if anyone has used wheelpartsdirect.com for wheel spacers? They seem very well priced compared to other suppliers out there for the usual hubcentric 25mm / 20mm set up.
  6. Good to see another Mancunian in the club. Welcome😁.
  7. I'd get yourself onto Detailing World, have a good read. Just remember, some of them on there think you need a 40 stage wash & decontamination session lasting 3 weeks.. You really don't need as many products as you think if you're starting out. I've got an old school Kestrel DAS6, had it for about 12 years & it's never missed a beat. I have a couple of 4" pads, 6" pads & 2 polishes, that's more than enough for me for my usage. A couple of tins of wax, a clay bar & a few other bits, you certainly don't need a whole lockup full of the stuff.
  8. Welcome aboard, good to see a fellow Mancunian around, I'll look out for you!😎
  9. Is anyone aware of any direct replacement burnt tips for this exhaust? The blue has faded quite badly on mine, they were quite faded when I bought it, so am looking for something that'll fit straight on. I'd imagine the genuine ones will be big money. I did message Bob @ TS just before xmas but didn't get a reply back, maybe not something he does.
  10. Cheers everyone, seems we're not alone up here in the northwest.. I wasn't aware Tesco Momentum was 99 ron, so I just brimmed the tank with that stuff. It does seem to be a regional thing though.
  11. Looks pretty unique, looking forward to seeing what it actually looks like😎.
  12. Is there anyone in the northwest, mainly Manchester, struggling to get this? Been 2 weeks now & both stations I use have the pump handles of V power bagged up. I've asked in store & they have no idea..
  13. Definitely try a jump pack, if that fails then whack the starter, can't be much else. If you're under it the voltage should drop on the starter during cranking (or attempted cranking).
  14. As I work for them🤐, I'm sure this has been in the group since late summer as a colleague came to me with it. Sure it was roughly £32k. Looks very nice though😉.
  15. VBH loved the Z. Watched it last night, but not a fan of the BMW / Supra so didn't watch that part of it.
  16. Cheers Alex, it's both marked in red here. Please confirm prices & brands of both, thanks.
  17. I'm suspecting one of both of mine have been making some noise for some time in the cold weather now upon cold startup, the noise will go after a few seconds & sounds a bit rough. I'm looking to replace both of the idler pulleys & have come up with 2 Gates options T36336 (11927AL500) for the alternator belt, and T36321 for the compressor belt (11927AG300). Does anyone on the forum have new availability on Gates / SKF? And also prices please.😉
  18. You'll no doubt need a full wheel alignment after installing it, at least in my experience on the Z.
  19. I had my nsr fail on the MOT in August, it had quite a bit of movement in it, but I couldn't notice anything whilst driving. I replaced it with a Blue Print one from work.
  20. Here you go: https://incartec.co.uk/Nissan/350Z/Stereo-Upgrade-Double-Din/Pioneer-Double-din You'll get all you need there.
  21. 11.50am today, a blue vert heading south on the M61 between J8 & Rivington Services. Aftermarket wheels, steel mesh grille & DRL's where the front reflectors go & a JDM rear bumper.
  22. Depends if the tester left it parked up for hours before testing it. I always give mine a good blast up the dual carriageway prior to MOT & always get straight on with the test soon as I'm back, no issues again this year.
  23. Travelling north on the M61 between Rivington Services & Chorley junction, roughly 9.30am this morning.
  24. Best to get the front of the car high up on axle stands too, this helps the bleeding process a lot, so do those bleeding systems with a bucket & adapters you fit to the radiator where you fill it.
  25. Spotted about 8.30am this morning somewhere in Winsford. Had a satin blue wrap that looked really good, aftermarket alloys & it was lowered, also had the rear screen louvre fitted.. Reg ended LLL.
