  1. Lol I remember when I first saw this and ripped it saying it should have been the R36....I think they have other plans for the R36. Still years away.
  2. lool.... Also check this edit with wider rear lights and Z badge
  3. Skip to near the end he made some adjustments to the grill.
  4. Even Cup 2 and equivalents have their limits. Torque should always be managed on a rear wheel drive car. A sudden gush of boost on a rear wheel drive. Ha..."do you feel in control?"
  5. loool not at all. Suprisedly Torquey according to my neighbour who had a 440 ft lbs 300hp diesel. Could be because one grips and the other slides all over the gaff and cant put power down effectively at low speeds.
  6. Good point about power, comparing sizes etc lol....But you need to feel a bit of an evolution. Also you look at the new £80,000 Evora lightweight and 400hp. You kind of want a bit of everything. Some People complained the 370 nismo was slow. As an owner its not a slow car at all. Infact when people get in they are shocked that it doesn't reflect the figures quoted in terms of torque numbers and HP. It feels more. And yes ive been behind RS3 with 400 hp and Mustangs they really need to put in work to get away. Especially on bends. I agree power isnt everything, balance is more important. Im glad I can take corners with confidence and grip. Its easy to know where the limits are. The car reliably sticks at the limit not suprising you even if traction is broken. Handling is good. But I think it should be competitive power wise with its rivals like the Supra, M2, Z40 and even the Mustang offering superior handling in typical Japanese fashion. Could be a reason they are coy on power output for now. also @davey_83 I emailed them too lol
  7. Needs more power. Isnt the Mustang running 450hp nowadays? People in Stangs will still be outrunning it in US Also the vr30 is down 50 ft lbs on the m2 competition and supra
  8. Well done Davey. Need more of that tbh. Ill do the same despite the obvious answer I guess nothing official from UK head office. So the press must have got their news from the Nissan press officer. Really and truly she should have point blank echoed the same statement as the press did but she didnt. So something's not right
  9. Need a ship with security. Thatll get hijacked by pirates
  10. The last few years have put the nail in coffin for Europe. 50 Z per month in EU nothing shout home about. Also 350Z owners who havent looked at a 370 by now probably wont be interested. Its easier to just save your money and go for another brand. With the Z Nissan dont have to do anything. Just leave the market to a bigger company like Toyota and a possible manual Supra incoming. Im not suprised to see 61 supras for sale with covid happening. Which means they initially sold quite a few. It just means hold onto to what you got. Nissan struggled to shift 50th anniversary models HPCs and Performance salesmen can either move companies or go back to selling SUVs at Nissan after 2022. The final year of R35 apparently
  11. lol the way the 370 struggled post 2013....I cant blame them. People really didn't give it a chance. They can keep breaking necks though *shrugs* A petition is futile. 3000 signatures from general JDM, 350z/370z and Juke Nismo owners of which 200 solid orders...100 cancellations due to Covid 20,...And new GR 86........Nissan: ....... Exactly! All deposits refunded
  12. exactly.....Wanna be Ferrari theyd call that
  13. It is expensive. Theres a possibility it could go for £40k with discounts in Japan after a year or two depending on the numbers. Anyone hoping for £25k probably will wait 4-5 years. All that if it comes here as import. If its import only I doubt owners would want to give it up lol. When ones comes up for sale immediately goes to the highest bidder. The car is basically 240, 300 and 350, 370 all in one. I still like the side profile. The rear has an old Ferrari/ 300ZX vibe. I hope they make the rear lights wider. So small. @stanski best site to create a petition that isnt Change.org lol
  14. They dont but they service them dont they. Not everyone would be using the stealers Also aside from a petition @stanski enquiring at your local hpc dealers can also help get the conversations going in meetings. Dont ask dont get. If people did that it creates a stronger case. Either way the 370 isnt a localised car. Dealer Parts come from Japan and mainland Europe with long wait times.
  15. those models, eventually they will be. Thats guaranteed. I just dont expect anything performance and Electric till later down the line as in 2025 onwards. The compromise is petrol hybrid which already 10 year old technology. Nismo may try that for the Z and GTR. If done right you wouldn't notice its got any Electric aspect. Youd get more power all round. At the low end specifically. Also more economy and lower emissions.
  16. well if shouting for 4 years for a refresh wasnt bad enough there are always alternatives. I expect this to sell well if priced right. I wouldn't rule out a change of direction in the future from Nissan. Toyota remain at top for a reason. Nissan should take notes instead of taking the ball and running home!
  17. it will be way more than 4 plus others coming from other brands price dependent. If youre already in that line of business you're basically ordering q60 parts. There are a few of them in the country too. Anyway I still believe itll come to the UK in small numbers as a guy at Nissan has been told. Obviously we have to wait and see. GTR ends in 2022 leaving HPCs with not much to sell. I guess they (performance sales) can all go back to selling jukes, ariyas and qashqais.
  18. We shall see. Some indie dealers may be interested in importing a few. As time goes on we may see a few come here and with the way things are prices could change. But yes expect £50,000 range initially due to the shipping costs, registration etc. I reckon after a year things could change if Nissan see indies importing them to UK. Im referring to UK not Europe. Its an opportunity for indies and import/export businesses to muscle in on manufacturers territories and rightly so! Then think about After Sales support, Modifications, parts etc. Whole new area doing what the manufacturer was suppose to do. Great opportunity.
  19. Its the same door too. is it worth importing at anything above 40k......if the car cost 46k in Japan by the time it gets here its around 49k. Tax and insurance 51k....If God forbid you have to sell that would be a tough sell although I think someone would buy it if there are non about.
  20. apparently Methanol is low emission but highly combustible. I think people are more obsessed with going Electric. Yeah I heard that about hybrid too
  21. https://www.motor1.com/news/444233/nissan-400z-not-coming-europe/ roadster and hybrid Nismo. Anywho
