  1. Sunday 16th July. 9AM from Abergavenny
  2. Ive seen some videos and people have taken the **** in the past. It looked tight in some areas that demand 20mph. I think ill be keeping distance as those rocks can get air borne going uphill
  3. Apparently Average Speed cameras 40 mph on some roads up. Theres no barrier on some areas with high drop points. I guess it will be more sight seeing this one 😎
  4. £40k in China. £50k in UK. Seems a bit steep. Interesting is the fact Tesla Plaid isn't coming to the UK in right hand drive. Model X and Model S. Tesla have had to reduce prices on stock. The MG will be level on performance for the base spec. The MG is looking heavier than the model 3 which is crazy....The top spec Will have 100 more HP than model 3 performance. The X dual motor weighs around 2000kg and Model 3 1847kg Depreciation is the main concern on EVs. Model 3 are showing up in droves around 20-30k. I wonder what the used price will be on the MG Roadster after a year and 15k miles for example.

    New Nismo Z

There is a thread open on this in "other cars" section
  7. turned out to be close Render was close enough. Now lets see if the specs will be competitive with the proposed final edition Supra and BMW M4 comp. Doubt it though
  8. I might stay in Gloss chester 😆 its 1.5 hours for me. From there to Abergavenny is around an hour. Might save me
  9. Lol EV1...someone paid them to go away. Nissan lol....Shocking...
  10. Yeah all clear. Leave approved. Good to go! 😎 🐉
  11. Gotta watch for sheep running into the road. No fencing on some areas
  12. Cool. Should be good. Hopefully ill have the exhaust fitted. Its arrived! Are you going direct? or staying nearby overnight?
  13. Mercedes did work with Nissan for some years so maybe they get a pass.
  14. 1. davey_83 2. HEADPHONES 3. GranTurismoEra Until I cant make it im in! Assuming we will have lots of Welsh Zeds joining along the route
  15. Speaking of service my 17 had the services at 1000, 3000, 10,000 and i sold it. Second one had 6 services by 42,000 when i sold it. I did a p3 at dealer on it took 4 hours. Including full inspection and greasing all the door hinges and changing coolant etc Brake fluid was already done from abbey when discs were changed. My current one has had 9 services and did miss one in 2018. It was within 10,000 miles. All services done within 10,000. Recently it had 3 services including p3 (51000) from 41,000 to current mileage 53000. It will have an oil and oil filter along with air filter change before Winter. Then a tranny oil change and diff oil by 61,000 early next year if ive still got it. £500. Tranny oil is 9 liters being auto. Nissan recommend service every 9000 miles. But an oil change at is recommended at least every 6000. Then brake fluid, coolant every 30,000. Sparks every 4-5 years checked during service for debris build up. Brake fluid some people recommend it should be changed more frequently like 18 months. Diff and Tranny is debatable .... for me im doing mine at 60k and if i was keeping it again at 100k.....Its not cheap and just as pricey than a p3 service being auto. So if you did it with a p3 youre looking at near £1000. Same as a 911 lol Unless you know a guy...
  16. Yeah China have over 20 large EV companies and startups. Im not familiar with mainland but im sure their infrastructure isn't perfect. Companies like BYD, Geely shift quite a few cars locally. You got Polestar and SAIC One thing he mentioned about some companies rebranding to start selling EVs. Sad thing is Nissan had the Leaf out over 14 years ago. They didnt capitalise and allowed Tesla to get majority the market share with Model S and X. The Leaf should have had a redesign and Infiniti could have had some electric models with the whole brand electrified in 2016 with the help of Renault. Now theyre having money issues. They just about made their main models hybrid and the electric SUV Ariya has some defects "black screen" and arrives close to 50k 14 years after. Laziness cost them. Other car manufacturers Mercedes, Audi, BMW, Ford, Jaguar seem to have made moves to overtake Nissan and eat into their market further. Porsche and Lotus are next to enter. It would be very hard to make headway in a sea of competition. Theyll have to go back to selling at 30-40k
  17. Chances are it most likely sold close to asking price which is what it cost brand new around £40,000. Unless it was a mate that bought it lol
  18. They say it will go into production in 2024. It definitely wont be cheap. Im assuming it will be direct competitor to Boxster and Cyberster/MGC Roadster. This is how I see it playing out in the next few years Potential Sports EV Boxster/Cayman - £60,000 - £74,000 MGC - £50,000-£60,000 Nyobolt - £70,000 Nissan Max Out Roadster - £55,000 Lexus LFA successor with Toyota developed gearbox- £95,000 Tesla Roadster - £120,000 Audi TT Successor - £50,000+ MX5 Plug in Hybrid - £35,000
  19. My brother drove from Carlisle to London about 5 hours i think on single tank in 350Z and still had a bit left. Theres a chance they might have decent price
