The manual had issues at launch hence the recalls and stop sale in US and Japan. So they didnt want to take the risk again with 384 ft lbs even though people have used the gearbox to over 400 ft lbs. For them to sort the manual out would cost money. Theyre only sorting the standard car via recalls. Auto is minimum money spent fixing manual gearbox. Also its competitive at the drag strip. Can always buy the body kit for the standard manual car lol. 20hp is nothing to lose sleep over. Seeing as Nissan didn't change the car from the concept I don't think they care anymore. Their focus now is Electric going forward. As far as they're concerned theyve appeased fan hype. New Z, New Nismo take it or leave it.

MG Delivered the MG4 for 26k 2nd most sold EV atm. Then they came with the 430HP X Power Version for 36K. Only thing to worry about is depreciation and build quality. The european models seem to be depreciating at an alarming rate. If China can sell their stuff here, the rivals will have to deliver more sub £40,000 cars. VED Taxation should force that as many people wont be in a hurry to pay £520 road tax.

Lol one thing ill give to Mr Ekona is brutal honesty. The points he bought up are valid. What was it £150 - £200 per head. Also its become an elite event with a few charity discount tickets for wider appeal. Its great to have but nothing stopping any company in UK from renting a small airport and hosting an event of their own. Getting manufacturers to attend and showcase would be extremely difficult without close relationships or money involved. Ofcourse if i won the lotto id look into it lol There will be more EV stuff now unfortunately. Thats where its headed. Long history of Goodwood means its internationally recognized. In the age of social media it probably wouldn't take a 100 years to get to this stage. Its all part of the history.

Well they can Justify the prices with the styling and features. MG need to step it up before trying to charge 60k for a convertible...Tesla in turn are having to reduce prices now.

Hyundai really are making an effort. Their delorean look alike concept is nice. The Ioniq N looks really good
