I doubt it, as the auto can have issues as well with lag, shifting when cold and with clutch slip etc which would require an Auto Tranny Specialist to look at. if constantly raced or pushed they develop wear as well. A used unit is around £1500+, brand new porbably almost double. They are reliable if not abused and looked after. I dont think theyre necessarily made to take constant abuse. Whereas a manual with uprated clutch and cylinder would be more durable. Just depends.

LOL its not a one size fits all. He'll do his own research unless he hasn't got limbs or eyes. Your endorsement of Michelin has me questioning whether you have an affiliation with Michelin. No doubt they're top tyres but come on now. There are only a few "specific" tyres from said manufacturers that fit the Z. Im sure most people here dont want to put £90 tyres on the Z. Whats all this about keen drivers....There are many people on here that don't drive like hooligans but spiritedly and can keep the car within the lanes on a tight curb. They most likely didn't have "Michelins" and no one died.

Compared to the manual the automatic requires more oil i think around 9 litres. fluids alone will cost around £150 to £200+ depending on what you use. Then the labour required is about 2 to 3 hours. Indie garages now charge dealership prices citing Covid and cost of survival......I was quoted £500 compared to the manual gearbox oil change which needs less than half the amount of oil (about 3 litres or so). It would probably be around £250 to change that. When you chuck in the diff looking at around £700 excluding standard service. I was going to do it if i was keeping the car.

The GT Edition had more camber and a slightly different suspension to base. Some owners would have changed their setup after all this time.

Mechanical rattle when setting off in low revs in my 370z...

Single mass is quicker and more responsive on pick up. But yeah you will get chutter. -
Depends on driving style. If you drive like Mrs Daisy you dont need top of the line £1100 tires. Ive been on Falken and unless you take the absolute mick they are decent.
-
So a bit like the 370Z with a "Nismo" Exhaust.
-
Automatics are less desired and cost more to service the gearbox. I have no regrets after driving manual in the city for 10 years. Each to their own. But as much as I liked the Nismos they became a chore to drive in traffic or slow moving traffic.

Pads are Nissan Discs are PAGID and APEC both supply Nissan dealers.

Same here 4 Zeds, 2 Nismos. It is what it is. Uber and bus for a bit for me. Over it lol.

Pics to follow. £360 ono. DM Me Free brake fluid included. Cars going so dont need any of the stuff.

You should have come on the Wales drive. I think you would have enjoyed the drive. -
Id get the Gemini if neighbours as prickly and sensitive.....On a quieter note just put the Stock Nismo exhaust on my GT and its a perfect fit. The noise is quieter than stock exhaust from that year. Lots of wheezing. I gave the neighbours a few revs. They can have their peace now. Was just a summer thing 😹

Auto 370 would have been a better comparison. Its not a natural progression,. Different car altogether. A more natural progression would be a Porsche Cayman S or GTS 981 Generation. As it strips the weight from the 370 and gives better driving dynamics despite 0.1 seconds here and there. Not necessarily more power. More power id get a Supra A90 because of the Turbo or 4 banger 718 S or GTS. Otherwise its just going to be a straight line speed type change. Also maintenance is two to three times the amount on GTR. EU Supra is down on power by like 60HP to the US Version. Makes a difference.
