I expect that deters the food source...... Anyone use security cameras through windows with success rather than mounting them outside? Of my 2 cameras, both day night, one is inside the bedroom pointing down the cul de sac but the night picture dissapears due to glass reflection. I will put it outside with the other one when time allows.

Likewise, I wont take my Z anywhere that means it is out of sight for that very reason. I do have a choice of several other cars so I'm lucky in that respect and while it is at home on the drive, it's covered by CCTV and my bedroom window is above the car. Oftern thought would I actually jump out of the window if i caught someone fekkin with the Z.

Well Alan, Im staying at number 3 the Esplanade, my silver 350 is parked outside the very same building, cant miss my plate, ends in FUN. I will be hanging around the quayside pubs friday and saturday night.

Two night ago whilst driving my Nissan X trail along A45 between Coventry and Meriden, I was undertaken at speed (I was at 60) by 20 or more bikes including quads, scooters, motorcycles, some bikes doing wheelies whilst going past. I slowed down for obvious reasons. One of the quads and several bikes then stopped in lane two. I put my hazards on to slow cars behind me then as quick as a flash they proceeded to pull away again on one wheel, trick riding etc. This is the behaviour that I have now become acustomed to when several motorcycles are riden in groups. I'm afraid that I have no sympathy left for idiots on either side of the fence be they car or motorcycle drivers. I know my limits, I know the only place to drive fast is the track.

I have a traders policy as I buy, repair and sell cars. I purchased my 350Z and said car was put on MID by text as per instructions by insurers. 2 weeks go by. Then I had a letter saying they cant insure it ??? I called them right away and was put in the phone queue for like 10 hours due to customer service that does not do what it says in the letter. 3 days pass. Another letter arrives asking for photos of front, sides, rear of car and engine bay including number plates in images. Sent images by email last Saturday. This done and I now have a letter (Today) saying 'due to lowered suspension and aftermarket wheels', they will only insure the car 3rd party. I pay a tad over £800 per year for my insurance and at any one time I probably have ten cars insured including 400HP Jags, Beemers etc etc. Just wondering why pick on the Z and make an example? It a bit like these cars are only driven by monsters who cant handle power according to insurance. Just makes me wonder. Rant over. (MID = Motor insurance database)

KK, got it now, I have ordered the parts. Exactly what does the 'velocity stack mod' do in terms of the amount of cool air entering the air filter housing? Is this a flow rate thing?

Well looking into my engine bay it has been fitted with a K&N induction pipe which is sucking in nice hot air, not good. I met a fellow Z owner today who said there is available somewhere a box that has another pipe attached which in turn takes in cooler air. All I have is what you see in the picture. Without ordering and replacing the whole lot, has anyone out there got the missing bits? or know where I can get the missing bits?
