  1. Did the master key you have worked before or you have been sold with a faulty key? Few things to check before needing a new key (£150-£250 each). 1.) Try pairing it again using this procedure (i think you'll need to reprogram both else the spare key might not work anymore)--> 2.) If the above failed, you probably have a faulty key. Get a 2nd hand key from Ebay or car breaker, transfer the key blade and immobiliser block. Then you'll need to reprogram it again using method above. 3.) If both the above failed, time to get a new key from Nissan stealership or car locksmiths.
  2. I agree this is going to be tough, I'm sure Huawei will be head hunting very soon and somehow get around this in 1-2 years maybe. They are potentially loosing millions of pounds (if not billions) if the ban continues hence spending few millions now to compete against the current 2 big boys should be an easy decision. It will be a shame to see them go if they can't survive this fight.
  3. I have a mate 20 pro and loved it. Great picture and video quality, device speed was good too. No complaints so far. These ban will probably make them stronger. They'll just end up making their own OS and components. Android and other suppliers will suffer long run.
  4. Yep, if they can get a new wing. Else when they fix that, they'll need to sort out the rust too as the accident damage is just around 4cm away.
  5. Hello and welcome. Plenty to read in this forum before you purchase your zed.
  6. In not so good news this week (yesterday) , my zed got bumped by a contractor's van whilst I wan at work in works carpark. Lucky he did the honourable thing by not running away and went to reception to look for me. Exchanged details and I've started the insurance process. I tempted to sort it out outside of insurance but the guy insisted to claim it via insurance. My concern is insurance company writing my car off due to repair cost more than certain percentage of my zed's book value. Evaluation engineer is coming over next week Tuesday to assess the damage. Hopefully not a write off. I'll very likely to buy it back of they write it off. He (white van ) parked next to me, drove out of the spot and hit my front right. I assumed he wasn't looking and aware my zed is next to his! I parked there before he does hence no excuse of not noticing me anyway, damage is done and he's very apologetic. My wheels actually moved as a result of this impact (I had my wheels straight, parallel to rear wheels when i left the car, image below shows the movement). Checked all the mechanism n tracking this morning at L&G and been given the all good, phew.... I also have to postpone my time at bodyshop as I've booked my zed in for rear and front driver side rust on the arches sorted.
  7. Fitted new clutch slave (StopTech supplied by Torqen) and HEL braided hose today. Clutch pedal only returned half way for the past 2 weeks, issue only started when car is hot. When the mechanic replaced the slave, he noticed quite a bit of water in the system. I guess my issue is combination of salve cylinder on its way out and also water in the system. All sorted now, clutch pedal feels more solid now probably thanks to the braided hose. Most importantly, managed to see this beauty 350z again at L&G Manchester. @HEADPHONES looking superb under the morning sun!!! Paint doesn't age at all...!!
  8. If you do change or clean the brake switch, make sure you clean/change the correct one. I cleaned the wrong one 1st time as I've cleaned the cruise control switch. The brake switch is the one at the back (fully black), the cruise control has some brown casing. Silly me!!
  9. scammers are getting on top of their game now!! I bet 1 or 2 person will fall into it. Email sounded very legit but still the same old offshore story.
  10. You can try sucking some out from the reservoir if they exceeded the 'H' level and see if that solve the issue. I'm not sure about the wheel speed sensor, i suspect each wheel has one to aid traction control.
  11. I think it should be fine to drive, just that you won't have ABS. I drove around with this issue the 1st time for around 1 month, and drove 1hr to get to a specialist. I paid around £250 (roughly) for 2nd hand ABS actuator and £260 labour and fluids to get it fitted along with all 4 braided brake hose. When my brake switch was faulty, I cleaned the contact, worked for a few days and issue reappear. But worth a try.
  12. Did all lights shows up when you press the brake pedal? I had this twice. 1st time was about 3 yrs ago. Nothing shows up on the Bluetooth reader, normal reader showd something about a sensor (can't remember which) but that points to needing a new ABS actuator module. Purchased a used one from Alex and still working fine to date. 2nd time I had this was 2 months ago, but this time the brake switch is the issue. I checked it, it works intermittent. When I checked it, everything works fine, but managed to replicate the issue 1 in 5 pedal press. Also it seems to be creating the issue if I press it fully rather than soft touch. Looks like you have checked everything. Maybe try pressing your brake as far as possible and see if this creates it? Or for less than a tenner, try replacing the brake switch. Found this -
  13. Looks like you'll need to bring your UV torch along if mistress is involved #proofofownership???
  14. just throwing in a spanner ----> Maybe both husband and wife are claiming the car? Husband selling it cheaper for fast cash using an undeclared account Paypal to avoid the wife getting 50%........wife wanted to sell this at full price. Anyway, i don't have spare £12k to buy this even if this is legit
  15. Fast response online (chat) to answer my questions (apologies for many questions) and also price matched instantly, item shipped early and I received it the next day. Sticker and chocolate are icing on the cake. Thank you.
  16. They are easy swap, nothing tricky about them, any local garage can sort it out for you. My local mechanic (Huddersfield) charge around £80 to £100. Cheaper for me as I always goes to him for MOT and service yearly. 2 hours max for all 4 corners (30mins each corner). Having said that, sorry that i can't recommend any in Leeds.
  17. I have my eyes on this one --> https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-speedmaster-57-omega-co-axial-chronograph-41-5-mm-33110425102002. Might go for a 0% finance or alternatively purchase this in Malaysia when I go there next year. Seems to be around £300-£400 cheaper.
  18. Absolutely loved reading this and tempted to get one going myself if space and time permits. Had a mini R56 1.6 petrol before i had the zed, it was a fun car to drive.
  19. ^^ as @ShortPaul said, it is there to fail safe mechanic or your good self from putting the rear wheel to the front when you have all 4 wheels taken off at the same time.
  20. Closest specialist to me is Manchester. Will give them a ring and see if I can get a slot soon. Clutch went back to normal this morning and I suspect the hot weather yesterday is partly to blame for this?? Stoptech seems to be a good aftermarket slave to buy.
  21. I supposed any good aftermarket will do? Tarmac sells stoptech slave for £36 and H-dev selling Dorman's + full kit for £85. Obviously don't go for ebay specials??
  22. Agreed....after 4 months Tempted to do it myself, seems easy to change but the bleeding seems to be the hardest bit.
  23. My source is very reliable and as Alex said, it will only take 30mins to do hence my source is spot on that is isn't necessary to change the slave when I change the clutch and flywheel.
