    OEM Mats

My zed only comes with driver side when I brought it. This will be perfect for me..... PM'ed
  2. I've been looking at zleds for some time since I got my zed 2 months ago but not too keen of getting them over from the states just in case it got damaged during transit or something. Better to get them from UK source. I'm going to keep my eyes on you Martinjj. Defo worth waiting to see your masterpiece!
  3. Great price mate, sure it will sell fast. Good luck
  4. What's the offer now? I would like 20mm front and 25mm rear sets please.
  5. Same here, my neighbour is a horrible drive. As I live in apartment, she parks next to me in the car park! She used to drive a Punto and she doesn't care about it hence lots if scratches n pretty beaten up, I suspect she opens her car door and dented my previous car (mini), so annoying. Yeah, it took her few go to park properly on her spot! She crashed her car and got a 61 plate Alfa Mito. She still hopeless in parking still but takes more care now opening doors. Since I've sold the mini and got a zed, I now parked on the side of my apartment away from her!
  6. Welcome mate, you'll get plenty of tips, advice and ideas in this forum. Get some pics up...... 😎
  7. Looking good mate, it's exactly what I wanted mine to be when save enough money to buy a Nismo V1 spoiler. Great mind thinks alike, but you've got there already.
  8. Nop, but I've been told to clay bar it before polishing it. Thanks for suggestions mate
  9. I would go for option 4. Can be removed when i wanted to or I can just shut the cubby if I want to leave it in the car. Looking forward to the prototype
  10. Any idea what wheels are those? They are looking really good
  11. Lol, I shall post a pic if I find any appreciation mark(s) tomorrow
  12. Wash and polish today Note to self: Never use a sponge on the body work
  13. Thanks mate. Will keep that in mind.
  14. Here's after 7 hours of sweat...... Defo worth my time and sweat when my zed had a mirror finish........ Sweet! Shall see how long Gtechniq C4 plastic restorer last. Happy with the results and I only need few drops to get is sorted. I actually kind of liking the blue masking tapes on the zed
  15. I'm here. There's nothing wrong with using a sponge... ... if you slice them up and use them as tyre dressing applicators. Personally, I prefer these to the lambswool just because they don't rot like all the lambswool mitts I've had, but either would be kinder to the car than the sponge. OP, I've noticed you mentioned polishes but no wax or sealant. You'll want to add some protection after going to the effort of polishing (after the paint touch ups though, obviously). Also, look up the "2 bucket method" (or 3, as you're cleaning the wheels too - I spotted that wheel brush - or 4 if you want to go overboard with the wheels ). I assume you're referring to the polishing pads here? The advice above is referring to your wash sponge, not the polishing stage. Perhaps you could give a quick run down of your current process, just to avoid any misunderstandings? Lol, I use polishing sponge (polishing pads). For the wash, I use a mop like cloth. Start from top to bottom to avoid picking up dirts which usually more at the bottom. Then dry the car with microfiber cloth. Then start off with a normal sponge (polishing pad) with the G3 polishing compound. Haven't got chance to finish the whole car yet. Plan is polish the whole car with G3, then switch to the super soft sponge (polishing pad) with the G10 super fine, then final round with the lambswool mitt with Nu Finish once a year polish/wax. Good advise on the sealant, I'm not sure if the Nu Finish is a polish or wax. Need a closer look at it. That was a gift from my mate who owns a body shop back in Malaysia. He highly recommends it.
  16. I've got 2 sponges and one lambswool wash mint. Normal for use with G3, super soft for G10 and lambswool for use with Nu Finish once a year polish. I kept the sponge wet with a water spray every now and then. I also use lowest speed and lots of movement to avoid burning 🔥 That's the recommendations from Farecla website 😤, I should had read for advices here. Thank you guys! Appreciate your input. I'll exchange those spare sponges I have with the lambswool.
  17. I was quoted around £170 ish by Nissan Pentagon Huddersfield and I need to book it for a day for them to program it. Then I got quoted for around £130 ish by Timpson, but just bring your keys to their selected shops along with V5. They do it while-u-wait. I've only one at the moment, but not sure who to take it to. Hopefully someone here has done it before for cheaper price. Defo need an extra one for safe keeping.😉
  18. Thanks for the tips mate. I've been doing research for the past 3 weeks before I start today 😎
  19. Got some time in lieu accumulated so took half day off today to detail my car. Borrowed a car polisher from my mate, brought some sponge, and some masking tape. Products: Farecla G3 polishing compound Farecla G10 super fine polishing compound Halford's stone chip repair kit Turtle Wax car shampoo Meguiars all metal polish Gtechniq C4 plastic restorer Before: Lots of scratches around the rear hamburger 🔠Some of the visible scratches Unfortunately, I only managed to polish the rear wing and rear boot area before the rain starts. :o hence can't take pics of the polished area around the rear hamburger. 80% of the scratches are removed and only some still visible if you look close. Will get it sorted out tomorrow and take more pics. What's left? 3/4 of the car Rear exhaust tips All black rubber trims Kuro black paint on the stone chips and scratches
