  1. Wonderful looking Z, Vince. My wife is so jealous, she loves the pearlescent white on the Zeds. We have an Infiniti FX in a similar colour, it is a beautiful colour.

    Beautiful looking Z
  3. This surely can't need to go through WBAC.......crazy!
  4. I have been pondering over the Ark or Invidia. From what I have heard live and on You Tube I think the Ark is slightly dèeper in tone out of the two, but not too much in it. The Ark however looks the dogs danglies!
  5. That is my concern. Can any roadster owner check to see if that fuse should be there/active? Thanks
  6. Whilst trying to find the steering lock fuse, by opening up the wrong fuse box (yes the one in front of the battery DUH!!! ) I noticed that the fuse marked alarm horn is missing. Should there be a fuse or is this fuse box used on other Nissans and the 370z alarm wiring routed elsewhere? Tried to do a search but nothing really coming up on this.
  7. Not had chance to pull the fuse yet, maybe today. I wonder if my 2011 Infiniti FX also has the same issue?
  8. Vince, its daylight and no piccys up yet, your surely not still in bed
  9. Welcome along, Great things happening in Devon to keep your Zeds wheels tunring. Also good news to have a garage interested in Zeds, where in Devon are you near? Rob
  10. Well Nissan UK have officially come back with the information that my car was manufactured after the fault was discovered and rectified, therefore not needing a replacement part. Forgive me for being sceptical, but my vin is lower than 0300691, so I have my doubts as to the validity of this comment! However, do the roadster vin run concurrently with the GT models or do they have a different number system? Also how easy is it to drop the interior trim to see which lock is under the steering column?
  11. Okay, just worried about breaking or snapping something
  12. I thought I would do this until a more satisfactory solution is found and I don't want to get stuck whilst I am on the continent.I got as far as unclipping the fuse box from the metal bracket at the front of the fuse box. This then allows the fuse box to be lifted upward. Unfortunately it only comes up far enough to just clear the bracket. The wiring loom on the left side of the fuse box stops it coming up any further. Is there anything else I need to release? Also do the steering lock issues tend to manifest themselves more in winter conditions due to the grease thickening? If so should I worry less as it is still pretty warm down here.
  13. Apparently the matter has been moved from JFE service department to their warranty department. Not sure if that is positive or not
  14. I have copied and pasted most of the key parts of this thread to my HPC dealer, JFE Exeter. Let's see what they now come back with.
  15. Maybe I will call Nissan HPC Birmingham to see if they recollect the recall.
  16. Tend to agree, but I spent 20 minutes on the phone with Nissan GB armed with the recall number and they clearly stated the recall is only for the GTR, so no wonder the dealer cannot confirm the recall!
  17. Sorry to resurrect this thread but.... My car comes within the vin shown on the various threads. I have asked my Nissan dealer to check if the recall on the steering lock was done on my car. He checked but gave the expected reply that there is no recall against the 370Z steering lock. I then gave him the recall number P3208 and asked him to call Nissan. He came back and reconfirmed that Nissan do not have a recall on the 370Z lock. I then called Nissan UK and went through the whole process with the same result. There comment when I asked them to check recall P3208 was that it related to the GTR model only and definitely not the 370Z. I now know my car has not had the lock changed, but I am bemused as to why Nissan refuse to recognise the recall and what action now to take!
  18. I am totally confused by this now. I called my Nissan Dealer who checked and stated there were no recalls on 370s even though I gave him the recall number. As I was sure he was wrong I have just called Nissan UK Customer service. Highlighting the recall number P3208 and Vin up to 0300691 which would include mine. Nissan stated there was no recall on record and the P3208 only related to the GTR model. I went over and over with Nissan how others have had this recall carried out, but they were insistent that there are no recalls on the 370Z related to any steering lock failure???? Where do I go from here, as I am now sure mine has not been done.
  19. Peter, I will post up the photo of your Grandson in his 350z hoody. Great to start them youngish into the Z fold.
  20. I just loved my 350, but the 370 itch was always there and I am so glad it was, for me the 370 is a far better all round car...subjective of course
  21. Oh go on then 1. Hon - ark grip 2. Sargara - 350z ark grip 3. 370 ZRDevon- 370Z ArK Grip
  22. I had these on my old 350 and preferred them to the current Bridgestones on the 370!
