  1. Gorgeous car, good luck with the sale. Hairdressers V8 next? Seriously though, one of the best out there, folĺowed this around Wales utterly beautiful
  2. But yours has a metal skid lid on However having followed it around most of North Wales, it really has the most beautiful backside in a wonderful colour!
  3. Vince, can't add much to my PMs but as Colin says above the car looks good and the price is very fair as long as you are happy with the condition. Check top rear of the window seals, and get the dealer to replace if they are worn (very likely) the parts are on 2 week back order. Check the rear corners of the bonnet do not catch the A pillar, as soon as the hinges stiffen up this can be a problem and apparently a pain to adjust. Of the 5 cars I looked at before I bought mine all just caught.
  4. We spend the winter months down in Marbella and do monthly runs. I have many routes which use super driving roads. PM me with locations you want to cover and I can give you some great routes.
  5. Thanks, yes we are very lucky to be able to spend the winter months in a stunning location with such a superb car. Many years of putting work before anything else, now time to enjoy family, friends, sport and of course my cars, of which the 370 is definately my favourite
  6. Here in the States, when the 370 first came out, several folks had oil temperature problems during track days, resulting in the engine going into limp mode. The 370 makes more power, therefore more heat, than the 350, and doesn't even have the oil-to-water cooler that the early 350s have. Nissan may have felt that oil temperature had become a serious enough issue to warrant a separate gauge, since oil pressure at leas has an idiot light. good info as to Nissan's reasoning, maybe they should have done away with the clock or the volt/ampmeter, both pretty useless.
  7. Dave, I have not really noticed any additional body roll over the 350, but as they are both roadsters maybe the suspension settings are slightly different. We have a few nice roads with tunnels around our winter abode and just hearing that Fujitsubo in the tunnels......well I nearly had to reach for the tissues
  8. Yes, the 370 looks just stunning in the sun (that's the bright yellow thing in the sky by the way ) it really shows the colour. After a few months settling into the 370, I now love everything about it, so much better than the 350 imho. Just wish I had the Fijitsubo exhaust that my old car has. Got to get that new exhaust when I get back, Nismo or Ark....my Nismo friends are telling me not to go for the Nismo as they think I will be dissapointed and the 370 is a keeper.
  9. Never had an oil temp gauge on any of my rally cars or my hill climb Lotus 7 but an oil pressure gauge and a b****y big warning light!
  10. Met up with the forum owners (PEEBEE) of my old car down in Marbella. Lovely to see her looking so good!
  11. Why have they put an oil temp gauge in the 370s doing away with the oil pressure gauge the 350 had?
  12. Sorry to hear this Dave, hope it proves to be just a sensor fault and nothing more serious. Rob
  13. Can any of our experts on here confirm what material the 370Z Nismo exhaust system is made of, mild steel or stainless? I have asked this several times and tried to research it without success? Thanks Rob
  14. I would have made you an offer on this, but am currently out of the country.I don't think the Nismo systems are stainless though, mild steel like the standard systems? Can anyone confirm this?
  15. work Mate, plus love it down here We lived in that area for 3 years in the 90s, really a lovely area, and great pubs! Plus the best weather in the UK.

  17. That was also one of my thoughts. I think there are plus and minuses to each. Tiling allows you to put a much better waterproof membrane underneath and is much easier to keep clean, sweep, hoover and mop...job done. Matting is easier to lay and better if you want to work in the garage, I will have to use some form of protective matting if/when I use a trolley jack, but hopefully that will only be the occasional wheel off clean. Also I could not find the same matting products down here, which pushed me more toward tiling. It was important to ensure a very solid layer of cement under each tile not just blobs in the corners as this would then lead to a risk of cracking.
  18. Problem is, that the wife wants to know why I can now, keep cleaning the garage floor but find it impossible to do the same in the house
  19. Totally fed up with the crappy floor of my garage in Spain, either dust or damp coming up and I could not get any floor paint to stay on it. So I decided to waterproof membrane, and tile it before I brought Rosie down here for the winter. I reckon she will be very happy with where she will spend the winter away from the cold damp UK!
  20. Also within a mile, a Ginger 350 and a grey 370 at JFE along with Rosie, getting ready for the long trip down to Marbella!
  21. We may well be on for this and tie it in with Leicestershire/Nottinghamshire family visits. Need to check dates though. Rob
  22. Yes, particularly in the Roadster where you have to keep moving the seats forward to get to the storage box behind the seats! With the windows though it can only be a matter of the wiring of the switch, I cannot see the motors being any different.
