  1. Agree that is appalling. Take it to an Indie, I have very little faith in any stealer working on Nissans. Another member on here with a 350Z roadster has just had an awful experience with a Nissan stealer in regard to a hood mechanism and mine went in 3 times to have a seal changed and each time they replaced the wrong seal, even worse they changed seals that were perfect and did not need replacing. Finally got the correct seal changed on the 4th visit, fortunately the car is still under warranty so their costs! Mine will never ever go back to a stealer, P3 now booked at Horsham Developments.
  2. Zippypooz, do you have anything for the 370? Rob
  3. Car now sold to forum member, if Mods can lock thread, thanks.
  4. It's a source of frustration with me also. I cannot believe the number of stone chips my 370 seems to attract. My FX of the same mileage has absolutely no chips, but the 370 loads now. I also wonder if a paint protection wrap would cover existing chips and protect further, or if it is a matter of a nose re-spray every 5 years. Problem is the paint protection film is pretty expensive.
  5. And look at the price of an equivalent BMW X5 and most have over 100,000 miles on the clock!
  6. This beautiful car now sold, deposit taken for collection on Friday. So pleased it has gone to a forum member. Hope you had a good trip back Mark, sure you will really enjoy the FX. Due to now spending most of the year in Spain, we have to reluctantly reduce our UK car base. Firstly my 370Z Roadster stays, but with much sadness my Infiniti FX 3.0 S Premium V6 Turbo Diesel, first registered November 2011 has to go. PM me if
  7. Ark Grip, stunning sound not too loud and a piece of engineering porn to look at
  8. I think you need to decide what type of car you want rather than look at it from the residual perspective. If you really want either a Nismo or modded GT, then don't consider the Roadster, it's a very different beast. Alternatively if you fancy a Roadster as many of us do it's a cracking car, but you must want a Roadster. Not found any impracticalities is maintaining a fabric rag top myself
  9. I plastidip sprayed my old gun metal 350z front spoiler centre, thought it looked great and can be peeled off at any time. Like Will not sure it will work on Black Rose but interested to see any that have been done.
  10. Go on Will, do yours, post up some pictures, then I can decide whether to do the same to Rosie
  11. Oh, you have no clue... She even buys parts for him!!! A keeper then
  12. Chris, how on earth do you get the missus to clean your car (piccy#3) ?
  13. As shown in the photo, I have a very small wear hole in the seal that goes down the back of the window. The passenger window did not drop quickly enough when opening the door. This was noted when I bought the car and they adjusted the window drop which is now fine and agreed to replace the seal. The seal was on back order and I am now only in a position to let the dealer have the car to get the seal replaced. My concern is that it seems that the seal goes all the way along the back and bottom of the hood and up both sides of the window. Can anyone advise how big and complicated the work is to replace the seal? Even though the dealer is doing it under warranty, my concern is with anyone messing with the hood at all, given some of the horror stories of having the hood adjusted so it clears the windows. My hood works perfectly well and there is no wear on the actual hood material. Should I let them do the work or accept the slight wear on the seal? Thanks Rob
  14. That's the one I have, does need a 32gb card though, the 8gb one that comes with it doesn't store enough. Pete Looks really good. How do the speed camera alerts work? Do you have to pay a subscription? If you went for a 64gb card how long would the recording ability be?
  15. skimmed the thread - didn't realise he said that! ... and I agree And the OP stated "sometimes on track" use.It does not seem to me that he wants an out and out track car
  16. True, but my Nissan 3 year extended used car warranty was £499 (and it pays out). You will pay twice that annually for Porsche extended warranty! Even my M3 BMW warranty was half of the cost of a Porsche extended warranty.
  17. And why knock the 370z interior. I have owned 4 Porsches and apart from the very latest models the 370Z interior is a far nicer place to spend time. I would never own a used Porsche without manufacturers extended warranty either and check out the cost of that annually!
  18. They really are an awesome piece of engineering. I am LUVIN mine
  19. They really are an awesome piece of kit. Engineering art! Stunning sound with no droning.
  20. Beautiful car, but yes change that exhaust, should have done mine immediately I bought her, such a difference.
  21. These Ark Grip exhausts really are pieces of engineering art.
  22. Fitted my new 370Z space saver in the well of my Roadster. However as the Roadster does not have the Bose woofer there is no securing bracket and bolt. Can anyone advise if any other brackets from say a Qashqai or another Nissan model would fit and do the job? Thanks
