Would you trust buying the true dual exhaust from poland? Would the plenum spacer be worth the buy or would it just be better to invest in something from the UK?

If I could find some rays with a decent set of MPSS tyres on then I would be all over them cant say ive come across any just yet

Yeah they are the ones I have! I Missed Dans comment up there Well the tyres are currently legal but looking low for my liking and to be honest, I do not feel like they are sticking to the road like they should be which is why I have been doing my research. Looking to invest in some MPSS, found some for £470 (i think) on tyreleader. If I buy tyres for the OEM alloys I think i'll get them refurbed and keep them for a while and maybe invest in some rays in the future. Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated!

I do a similar routine to you TT350. Well I did last year then I bought a house that needed renovating and I lost all routine with diet and gym. I am 22 and last year when I was in full swing of the routine and really starting to make progress I weighed 15 stone. I am 6'3 and quite broad so I have the build to get pretty big and it was showing but like I say I bought the house and just lost all routine and diet. The build that I am also means if I dont watch what I eat I gain weight like no tomorrow. I believe I have quite a slow metabolism so I have to watch my diet too. Also doesn't help that me and my girlfriend are not the best cooks and go for an easy option instead of preparing something healthy most of the time. Anyway I am starting to get back into it because I am now 2 stone heavier and I miss how I used to look. Thats also what I found with the gym, once you start you will forever be critical of how you look

Yeah that makes sense, and no I dont have the rays, It have the other nissan alloys that come standard on a GT pack back when the rays were an optional extra and not included with the GT. I do want a set of rays though! So I am guessing it will be a similar set up for these alloys with the rear alloys being wider. This is even more worrying now, if the rear alloys are wider to suit 245 tyres and it has a 225 tyre then it wont be fit onto the alloy correctly will it?

When I did my research on the zed before it was bought, tyre widths didnt really come into the equation. I have only noticed this since I have been looking at getting a new set and previous cars i've owned have been the same all round so even if I had of noticed when viewing/test driving, it wouldn't have meant anything to me at the time

I have noticed the TCS kicking in a bit actually, but it is my first zed and just thought because it is a powerful car and RWD that it was just a little tail happy so I have just driven cautious of this (especially in the wet). If the rear tyres are meant to be wider does that mean the rear alloys themselves should be slightly wider than the front alloy?

Hi guys Ive read somewhere that a good tyre set up is 225 on the front and 245 on the rear. My zed current has 225 width front and rear so should I just maintain this when it comes to new tyre time? Thanks Scott

Thats quite a big CNC miller that is being used there! I currently have the original alloys on my zed (not the rays), I am not sure what they are called but what spacers would you recommend so that my wheels looked flush with the arches? Does spacing the wheels affect the tracking/wheel alignment at all?

Out of interest, what does a full engine rebuild consist of?

I want to do the drift experience too, never done one before so should be good fun!

Yeah Ill be buying tickets this week. me and my mate will be coming in my zed and I am trying to see if some other mates of mine will come along in their japanese motors. How will will it work when we get to the gate, we will be guided to the stand? Ive never been before so its all new to me

When I drove the GTR (Before I purchased my Z) I found the car was very fast but I thought it felt quite light, definitely did not feel like it was 1750kg. I also feel like it was very refined and smooth. I have always fancied a GTR and would probably still like one in the future but one thing I am not too sure on is the paddle shifters. They are brilliant for daily driving (I hired a car in america which had paddle shifters) it makes driving well and truly effortless but something about the paddle shifters just felt like I was cheating

I've had my 2004 zed for 4 weeks now and I have similar issue, it only smokes on startup and usually seems to disappear, i can occasionally smell burning oil as well. When I got the car home I changed oil and filter and noticed the oil was low. I checked it last week and it has dropped a bit but doesn't seem too bad. I seem to have similar symptoms to you, I am interested to see what you find because it has worried me a bit but I think most of the time i'm being paranoid. Mine has also been fit with decat pipes too.

Good spot there! I wouldnt go on DTTB but if I ever did I would try and use it to my advantage. For example, just save up and plan your wedding before hand then apply to DTTB (obviously dont tell them youve planned and saved for it) then when they give you the 12k budget, get a stag/hen do sorted for Las Vegas then just pretend youre struggling for the rest of fhe show. I'm sure its not that easy but worth a shot!

I am currently experiencing rage caused from playing FIFA 15.

I am 22 with 5 years no claims and it is around £1700 for me and my girlfriend as a named driver, she is 21. I also have 3 points for a bald tyre (I was pulled over the day before my MOT which I intended to get 4 new tyres the morning before I took my car round for the MOT in the afternoon). So I don't think my quote is too bad really. I'm with flux direct and it is classed as a modified car insurance scheme because I told them I have an aftermarket air filter on the car which actually brought my insurance down cheaper than anyone else. I don't mind paying it to drive my affordable dream car but I don't think your quote is bad but I wouldn't dream of having a blackbox in any car personally.

I've owned my zed for four weeks now and I have come across 2 350s and 1 370 and none of them waved! I even stopped to let the azure blue 350 turn right and he didnt even say thanks let alone acknowledge a fellow owner! I feel embarrassed for you I'd feel like a bit of an idiot if I did this haha Me and my girlfriend are both like this whenever we are in the passenger seat
